Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
Without a doubt the winner is p4p number 1. Mayweather was number 1 before he left. Marquez is the current number 1

2 of my favorites going at it... My loyalty is with Floyd always has been, but I will never disparage JMM he to me is the 2nd best fighter in the world behind Mayweather... Especially after Manny and Roach are showing their true colors by trying to drain Mosely and Cotto to get a fight. Oscar was good enough for Roach at 147 why not Mosley? Because their opportunistic record padding pussies. Mayweather fought a fresh 154lb optimum weight Delahoya while conceding Oscars every demand, but Roach wanted him freeze dried... Pac gets 0 credit for that win by me... IMO Floyd would have did a Gatti to DLH at 147.

I agree. Anybody with even decent Boxing knowledge knows Marquez is the current p4p number 1 (not including Mayweather).

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
Mayweather will utterly dominate Marquez. I doubt it goes the distance. My prediction PBF KO within 8. Then again, Marquez is lifting rocks...
-
Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
....it's just too much to ask of marquez. I'm hoping for a good fight, but expecting the same thing we always see. Floyd will win and there will be a ton of reasons and or excuses why. Lifting rocks won't hurt i guess, probably would have a better chance getting away will selling rock though.

I respect any boxer out there that is willing to step inside the ring. But calling Manny a pussy? You mean a Manny that only fought at 135 pounds once and jump 2 weight classes to fight a De La Hoya that was licking his chops and thinking that this would be an easy victory against a smaller man at 147? You mean a guy that started his career at straw weight and went up and knock out a 147 pounder? Oscar may have been drained but he agreed to the weight and called out Manny after Larry Merchant propose the fight. I like both Manny and Floyd. But don't let your fan boyism for Floyd disrespect and diminish one of the best in the game right now.

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
If I was training a guy to beat Floyd the obvious training method Id use would be to lift rocks too
Marquez, Floyd and Pac can all fight each other but the biggest challenge out there is Shane Mosley . Shame none of them want to go near him.
-
Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
This is just all wrong, hate the fight !Hes going to come in all buffed up, tightly packed & restricted.Dont see him fluid at all.Unending respect for Marquez beliving in himself and feeling the win.Frankly,He should be having that trilogy with Manny,Floyd should be waiting in line!

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
pussy boy mayweather should be fighting the big boys at his own weight class instead of a blown up featherweight. and what is the use of hangin' out in that weight class if he won't fight em. what a f'ng cherry picker. he went into retirement coz he ran out of opponents he's not afraid of. and now he's back and got his sights on little pacman and marquez.
what was it that he said over the phone? ah yes- I'll beat marquez and pacman coz they're too small for me!- that's all you need to know about what a big pussy floyd is.

Marquez-Pac was close. Marquez is a great fighter, but sitting on your ass 4 times does not help your cause.
Too bad they don't hire decent people.... maybe when they get rid of their excellent staff.

Juan Manuel Marquez 'expecting the best Floyd Mayweather ever'

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
While I agree it is funny as quoted on the article.
One thing that can't be denied is the preparation that is done when you train at Romanza in Mexico City.
Nacho hasn't tooken over dozen fighters to the promise land and he hasn't won over 30 title fights just on luck.
It's obvious he's done something right for all these years.
Since Zaragoza through Lopez and into JMM you can't denie that his training strategies when applied properly by his "long term" fighters has proven to be one of thee if not thee most effective training their is.
When I picture Nacho at Romanza I try to picture his thought process and how he views JMM in the ring and how he pictures PBF in there.
While I know one can't be 100% prepared for what will happen once fists fly Nacho is surgeon and as the fight goes along he knows what to say and he knows how to counter attacks.
I will admit and I've brought this up several times.
The man is getting up there in age I just hope whomever is working closely with him is writting everything down and has a library of notes he's taken.

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
Even if JMM will try to lift boulders, it won't change anything... PBF still has all the advantages and remain a 4 to 1 favorite to defeat JMM in this tune-up fight...
But props to JMM's dedication in training... I'm just hoping he can give a good fight and not a boring technical chess match waiting game...
.

Not worried about that 1 bit.. Believe me when I tell you, Floyd will do the thing that Manny has failed to do 2x, and that's comprehensively beat JMM convincingly and without controversy;)

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
Floyd will toy with him imo.

hatton was in relatively unknown territory albeit fighting tszyu in britain and being allowed to bully castillo on the inside.
Marquez on the other hand has been there and done that - he has taken a 3 knock down battering from pacquiao and got off the canvas to convincingly beat manny.
If you think floyd is gonna be the victor thats fine, if however you think floyd is gonna blow JMM away you are completely insane.
Mayweather to win a lop sided decision in a fight that fails to impress anybody
-
Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
I really think the onnnnnnly motivation for Mayweather is that mythical and somewhat pointless top 'p4p' spot.....but at the end of the day Manny is the # 1 Jr.Welt......Marquez is the # 1 Lightweight.

you scare the shiit out of me with your lack of depth and comprehension.
How can you box someone to a lopsided desicion without being impressive?
I stated that Mayweather would beat JMM comprehensively and convincingly without controversy, something Pac failed to do..
So how would a lop sided desicion not support that? Not to mention not impress? Whats impressive? Knocking a guy out and having him vault into a ring post or getting sparked tits up by a left cross:confused:;D
I never claimed a mortal combat style fatality type demolition of JMM:rolleyes:
its just humorous you would rebut my point in one paragraph, then support it with your last sentence

As ive said all along floyd at no point will wish to engage JMM in his style of fight and will be far too good at punching and moving to not take at least 9-10 of the rounds.
At the same time it`ll be as frustrating to the fans in attendance that night as your endless retarded comments on this board are to me.
Now clean that sand out of your vagina and fuck right off................;D;D;D

Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
As much as I want a PBF-PAC showdown, I really want Marquez to win.
1. A humbling experience for PBF.
2. Just reiterates how great PAC is. Same thing goes to Marquez, every victory PAC achieves add's more to JMM's stock.
*When JMM wins, naturally PBF supports him and backs him as P4P number 1 or 2 while Pac is still at 3rd place after them , a no brainer coming from these guys;)
-
Re: Marquez Lifts Rocks to Prepare for Mayweather
The weight is plainly wrong for JMM, that's a huge advantage for Floyd. However, I want to know, as I stated countless times before, the other clauses of the contract; What kind of gloves and what size of ring will be used? pillows winning gloves which would disadvantage JMM? Biggest ring size to maximize Floyd's movements?
Another thing which I don't like: peoples seem to belittle too much JMM's capacities, we're talking about one of the VERY best in the world and peoples are starting to talk like if that guy was a joke. No matter how the weight disadvantage him big time, he's far from being shot and is a hella warrior, Floyd might win, sure, but from here to say that he'll just yawn and toy with him is plainly exagarated, you can't compare a JMM with a Gatti skill wises, he couldn't toy Castillo, he won't toy Marquez at all.

I have said it all too many times in the past that Pac has beaten older guys that have a come straight foward style except JMM which actually many view as losses. The common thread is that Pac has never fought a quick, fast afoot / fast fists fighter or fighter with greater power at natural weight. ( in summary the better athlete)
Mosley, Mayweather, Guzman, etc .... In speaking to my filipino friends they brought it to my attention that he has not faced a "talented black fighter" . It had never crossed my mind but they are right !
