Wow i thought i would never ....ever see this day when there is a manny pac board. WTF!!!! It kind of...no not kind of, it does make me sick. I cant believe we have got to this, does the board disappear if manny gets knocked out? If so im just hoping for the guy to get knocked the fuck out next time ;D

Think how the front page was looking for the last two months from anyone wanting to come and chat about the other 90% of boxing.
I think that creating a Pacquiao department is a bit much, I would prefer it to be a subsection of Spam. :D;) I guess that it's better to look at it as a sort of psychological experiment and as a place to pigeonhole the old Pacquiao-dribble than anything else.
At least Xaduboxer (and other lemmings) will eventually get bored when he realizes that there's nobody responding to his Pacquiao venerated posts. There is no upcoming Pacquiao fight to jumpstart the activity, there's only the same redundant posts about his past exploits and then gossip that most of us could give a damn less about. :rolleyes:

its all about trending topics... the fight night board was made because of all the FN posts on the main board,
the prediction board was made because of all the lennox lewis vs a gorrilla threads on the main board.
the MMA board was made to stop all the ufc and mma posts on the main board.
the spam board was mad the stop all the viagra threads on the main board.
the lgio board and all the others where made because they were wanted or needed.
for me if you come here to talk boxing and just get hit with tons of pac threads you'll think fuck this i wanna talk boxing not just about pac... and ok they could be ignored but everyday gets too much.
but then you have the posters who wanna talk about pac and there are alot so why not give them their own board, if you wanna read about pac visit that board if you don't stay out of it... its a choice ;)
but saying that this forum is a work in progress always so if it goes quite its gone just like wacko's board for the p4p list was made to keep the main board from being over run with p4p talk... it went stail and aint here enymore.
the members awards board was asked for it went stail and is now gone.
its a good thing to please all IMO.
If it reduces the amount of Pac threads on the main board it can only be a good thing. There is much more to talk about
Thought about requiring a certain of mount of posts to access it? The fly by night trolls that come in just to start fires and then scammper off under 100 posts will self destruct :shinner:;D....of course now we can use it as a 'time-out' room.

Ok i get why it has been done but to me it makes this place more of a pacfan forum then what it already was. Newbies will come to the site and see we have a pacman board and wonder whether this is a pac fan site. I understand it was getting rediculous on the main boards but these guys should of known better, it should never of come to this. Please dont get me wrong saddo, i know your trying to make the main board look better and im all for that but i just dont think these pacfans should of gone over board.

The main thing here is there just weren't any really good options. The board was going haywire. And its not like a separate Pacman board had just now been brought up, it had been discussed before but not implemented because it didn't seem necessary. But there were just more and more and more Pacman topics and more and more people were finding this place kind of tiresome because of it. I personally was against it for a while until really not too long ago but it just got out of control.

BTW Boss Saddo, I think this site is the only boxing discussion forum board with a separate Manny Pacquiao sub-forum (aside from Pacland forum of course)... It's a historic first... In connection to this, can I advertise this new PAC forum to other boxing forums around the net? It might encourage other PAC fans to join this site... Well, it's hardly fair to make the gorilla fight Lennox in a boxer ring with contemporary boxing rules without having the same courtesy extended to the gorilla. I say there should be two fights, one in a boxing ring with Marcus of Queensbury rules and other in the gorillas natural habitat in which some kind of jungle law would inform the rules. If a tied-breaker is required after the two fights perhaps they could be placed in an equally foreign arena, something like an olympic-sized swimming pool and allowed to duke it out in there to decide a winner.Quote:

Any reasonable fan will give Manny his earned cred but in actuality it was done out of necessity in order to maintain a balanced,fluid and litter free main board as the trolls were running the village.

Pac is a very special fighter... I agree, but the only 'special' thing that made him got a sub forum on here is that he's the only fighter with such an irritating fan base and you needed to be segregated.
This is exactly my point. The reason why it angered me to see a manny pac board is not because there is a manny pac board but for the reason they have it. They got it by being out of control fan boys ruining our main board. They dont see it as a compromise, they see it as a reward. I just think it should of never have come to this, even with all the pommys here we never had the trouble with hatton supporters and we never had to make hatton/calzaghe boards and these guys were getting a shitload of hype. People were warned and they slowed it down, pacman supporters just went into over drive. Manny pac is an awesome fighter, nothing against him at all but his fans really know how to piss people off.Quote:
