On July 4th. I haven't seen any station pick this up yet. I thought for sure some station would pick this up.
I'd think so too, especially on July 4th:confused:
ESPN should grab it up, they could get a good deal on it. I see Dimitrenko beating Eddie pretty easily, this fight reminds me of Wlad-Byrd.
Dimitrenko IMO is the biggest threat to either Klitschko, 6'7 250+ and his trainer is Fritz Sdunek (so I don't know how a fight vs Vitali would happen), he's got fast hands, decent power, and he's undefeated.
I thought so too,but mainly because of his reach...seems that Wlad has some problems with boxers, who have similiar reach(Thompson comes to mind)...though Dimitrenko ain't the most stable guy:he nearly gave the fight against a shot Hoffmann away and in his last fight against Krasniqi it didn't look good for Alex until that hook to the liver, which stopped Krasniqi...
I've heard of Dimitrenko, but I haven't seen any of his fights and I know what Chambers brings and it's not much so hopefully, Dimitrenko beats him.
I know he's a flawed fighter and all but he's undefeated...he SHOULDN'T lose to Eddie Chambers, but Eddie can counter punch better than any heavyweight out there right now, but his stamina isn't all that great neither is his work ethic
...But shit Eddie Chambers is in the new Fight Night Round 4 game.
I see Dimitrenko beating Chambers with ease!
Now I have just seen Dimitrenko fight against Krasniqi. I must say I'm not to impressed it is not Dimitrenko's fight from what little I've seen. He leans in entirely too much to where I think Chambers can tatoo him with counter's. This will be a very interesting fight. I sure as shit hope some station can pick this one up.
I don't see Dimitrenko giving either Klitschko that much trouble, he seems athletic enough, quick hands and feet for a big guy, but he doesn't have a good jab, he doesn't get a ton of leverage on his shots, I think either brother is too technically sound and physically gifted for Dimitrenko to beat. Wlad and Vitali aren't the fastest heavyweights ever (even thought their speed, especially Wladimir's, are/is tremendously underrated), but they possess such good body coordination for big guys and they know how to not get hit.
Hope it is on espn we need more coverge for people not hbo or showtime.
I see Dimitrenko winning a UD in a fight that's a bit closer than the scorecards indicate.
i have not been to impressed with either from what ive seen of them, i think chambers will pull out a decision victory. Also dimitrenko probably should team up with steward as he seems to be able to get big boxers to fight to their adavantages it certainly didnt do lewis or wlad any harm.
I heard this will be playing on 2DF. Whatever the F**k that is. What about Justin.tv or something? Anyone?
ZDF is the german tv station which shows fights from the Universum stable...maybe they stream it from their internet page, but I doubt it...
Boxen im Zweiten - ZDF.de Sport

Will someone pm with me with info on how to watch this one live? I appreciate it. Thx in advance. :appl:
its interesting that Chambers was 208 pounds at the weigh in , thats 20 pounds less than normal
Eddie is a dangerous fighter for any heavyweight....very quick, sharp counter punches, solid defense, but his power is questionable and his stamina is horrid
Just checked Fightnews and it says that Chambers weighed in at 208??
He might actually be in shape for once. His stamina and speed should improve dramatically if that's the case.
Anyone know what time this one starts? Also does someone have links. I wish ESPN would have grabbed this one, this might a pretty decent fight.
Its on right now, they are in round three. I'm watching a stream, pretty good quality but commentary is german. Doesn't make a difference to me, I could do without commentary all together. If anyone needs a link, just post under me and I'll rep it to you. I can't make any guarantees about how long it will be up though.
Fast Eddie, isn't looking to fast.
Dimitrenko looks a little like Ivan Drago. ;D
After the first 3 rounds, I would have to give it to Dimitrenko so far.
Chambers looks to be in the best shape I have ever seen him in, which isn't really saying much.
After 4 I have it even now. Chambers looking better, finally getting some good combos in.
Oh geez, come on Dimitrenko, that was right on the belt, and not a low blow, quit your crying.
Well after 6, I have Chambers winning now. It looks like he hurt Dimitrenko with a body shot there, the way he ran away after getting hit.
Chambers is looking good, stalking Dimitrenko down and landing some combos. Dimitrenko is scoring some points with the jab and trying to counter chambers when he throws multiple punches. Dimitrenko is trying to land a sledgehammer right but it either finds Chambers glove or air.
Chambers had a very good round in the 7th.
Damn Dimitrenko is a big cry baby when he gets hit to the body.
Chambers has Dimitrenko hurt. He landed a punch to the body that Dimitrenko tried to claim was a shot to the back, but the ref saw through it and delivered a standing 8 count. This happened very late in round 7 and Dimitrenko was punished for about 30 seconds until the bell rand. Huge round for Chambers.
Coming in at 208 has really helped Chambers. He just might have heart after all
Can anyone pm me a link, much appreciated.
that one body shot had to hurt. perfect, yet illegal kidney shot right in the back. Surprised Dimitrenko never dropped. He's gaining some steam back and this is a close fight.
It's almost sad to see a big man like Dimitrenko fighting like that
