As far as my comment about the Carcass/Cannibal comparison; it wasn't meant to be implied good or bad. Alot of similarity in the vocal approach to both imo. Actually I quite liked it; though I can't listen to grindcore metal for sustained periods and the growling voice almost takes it to that category. I like black metal{Emperor}, death metal{Behemoth}, and straight metal; never got into Cannibal Corpse or Six Feet Under, etc.
My only complaint is the parts like at 1:00-1:15 where there was too much stopping and quick starts; sounded like a skipping record; jmo. Other than that, good stuff:)
Love that "I'm Going Weird" piece. Got some NIN industrial and later Faith No More feel to it. Jeez you guys are all over the place.;D
I like Vulgar Memories; it's got a Crowbar from early 90's and Sacred Reich feel to it; though he changes up the vocals and regains that Carcass touch; wish he'd of kept the starting vocals.
Anyways; I'm done critiquing; you asked for it.:tease-new:
Dubstep is a new form of music thats got influence from drum and bass and jungle, its really good I think it will hit the main stream quite soon as well !
Im the vocalist for the band by the way, my main influences are 4 bands; Suicide Silence, Carnifex, The Black Dahlia Murder and Despised Icon.
The band as a whole is influced mostly by a band called Emmure

I like it Tam, but as I've said before the growling-type death metal vocals don't do it for me. I like it much better when you're screaming. Good stuff though, I noticed you guys have an album coming out. I'll try and check it out and let you know what I think.

He can sing however he wants, I doubt Tam really gives a shit what I think regarding how he sings, like I said him and I have had these discussions before. I'm deeply into metal but lately, i've got to visit the past and Neil Young and REO Speedwagon is in my player now.
I fucking love Neil Young. I dropped one of my university classes last year just so I could go see him live. It was one of the best concerts I have ever seen, top 5 for sure (and I have seen literally hundreds).Quote:

I just recently bought some of his works with CSNY, it awesome. Harvest is great also
A Horse With No Name is done by America, not Neil Young. And yeah, I think he's in his mid-late 60's. He still put on a fucking wicked show. Rust Never Sleeps (live) and Decade (a compilation) are my favorite NY albums.Quote:

One guitarist is really into straight up hardcore and the other is into Metalcore. Are bassist likes everything, but are drummer is a true metal head and really isnt into the whole hardcore scene really.
