Billy Dib fight bizarre ending

I already disliked this dude, then he does that and has the audacity to celebrate and then start pushing people, LOL, what a prick.

The referee was garbage, unbelievable, even before that he had given like three lectures, clearly wanted to be the star of the evening. On a side note I think it should have been called a KD at first (assuming he hadn't punched him while on the ground) because while he did appear to slip a right hand did land a bit at least.

Dib looks like he's stopped trying to be Naz.

His right foot was out of the ring and the left foot slipping when the punch hit it looked like. The punch that hurt him was the one he took on his knees; can't really tell if it was heat of the moment or intentional. Dib is a twat for pushing the guy who was the one who got fukked on the whole thing imo.

you know if you wanted (and I'm not sure I do as Dib kind of annoys me) you could make a case that the whole thing with Dib was heat of the moment, maybe not classy behavior but not totally calculated. The push was cuntish but maybe that was heat of the moment too. I'm not saying I buy all of that exactly but just saying.

On the other hand the ref should be banned. He was already being an annoying bastard even before that. In a one minute span he gave three lectures, he's the Teddy Atlas of referees, stop trying to be the center of attention.

one reason I think is Dib almost seemed a bit surprised when he saw the replay. Maybe he was just embarrassed.

the Japanese guy did drop Dib earlier in the round.

Like I needed another reason to want to see Dib knocked out.

I could possibly concede hitting him while down was an in the moment thing; but he should know better then pushing the guy that came over to shake hands. James Butler in the making. What goes around comes around and I look forward to it.

yeah the push was bullshit now that I look at it again, the guy just turned towards Dib, it didn't even look like he said anything.

I don't know, I'm not gonna take one example and say Australian boxing's a joke cause I really don't know, I don't see many Australian fights. I will say ffs get some new announcers (maybe keep the interviewer for hilarity purposes) and ban the referee.

The foul punch was hardly "in the moment" as there was a distinct pause,then Dib threw
a looping left hand,AFTER Yamaguchi had slipped to the canvas.Dib didn't knock him down
and the subsequent damage caused to Yamaguchi was a result of the foul blow.The referee

I am fairly embarrassed being an Aussie watching this crap, Dib should have been DQ'd, it was an obvious foul and the referee was particularly poor. Dib would have clearly seen his opponent on the canvas and yet he continued to hit him while down. The reaction from the Dib camp after the fight was appalling. Shitbags the lot of em' !

Sad really,doesnt do the sport any good. There are some real fruitloops involved in the lower edges of the sport out here, in all countries really,unfortunatley they eventually get up levels and into the world spotlight.
You should see what breaks out during the lower level fights at times around here.
Those types who lack mental control can be found right through; in the ring fighting ,reffing, on the score cards and in the corners; the whole nine yards has small splattering s of these egomaniacs and panic merchants that cant think straight in certain situations and cant handle their own adrenalin or testosterone levels.

Ocasionally they erupt all together right on the world stage which they need to answer for in hard cash fines,judges and refs too if they fuck up, fine them,they arent doing their jobs right, so no pay and no work for a few months or back a level to practice getting it right and their weak assed scores closer to the other judges etc!

Then whats worse is we get these fukwits justifying their actions and make themselves look even more stupid on camera (which means they are so dumb they cant learn anything new from the whole exersise and will do the same thing again and again when the situation arises.)

I'm all for a Gamboa/Dib fight; this is the 1st I've seen of Dib and I already hate him, so get someone to crack him please.

Anywho, I wish we still had a Prime MAB in the Featherweight division....slamming people's heads on the turnbuckles....what a satisfying fight that was.

Wow Dib is a complete prick, I'd like to see him in with anyone of Gamboa, Juanma or Cabballero. Actually a catchweight between him & Valero or Prescott would be good too. He actually waited on the left hook till the guy's head came back up & the fact that ref ended the fight there is a disgrace. Dib should have at least had a point taken or been warned & Yamaguchi gets time to recover. Why Dib then shoves Yamaguchi who just walks towards him I don't know, & then his trainer. The behaviour of Dib, his corner & his entourage is a complete disgrace & at the least his corner should be banned from boxing for their next fight like Yoel Judah & Roger Mayweather were. I can understand Yamaguchi being pissed with the ref & he seemed to calm down quickly enough until Dib decided to be a prick. Dib crying like Cintron in his dad's arms pissed me off as well. Biitch. I have to say I laughed at the 70 year old man who jumped in the ring to break it all up though ;D

I agree with most that has been said here, but geeezuuus when the hell are these guys gonna stop becoming magically awake right after the fight is over, dude should have been pushing back dib since he immediatly had so much energy to push the ref. The ref lets the guy do the zab judah shuffle all over the ring ask's him to walk forward then soon as he says it's over BAM he's ready to fight. Screw em both but give dib the win. End these fights with you fists stop going for the pity "i got ripped vote".

Yamaguchi was hurt. He was wobbly as hell, that doesn't mean he couldn't push the ref or know that he had gotten a raw deal. Not sure what he did wrong.

Exactly, the fact the push of a pro boxer had little effect on the ref tells me that he didn't have an awful lot there at that moment. Apparently the fights being investigated by their local body

Even more one of those slashing wrist shots...ugly shot and it laced him across the mouth with force.

Not to beat a dead horse but did it look to anyone else that the round was over...pretty close as I counted it out but no 10 second bell nor a final bell/gong/buzzer etc.

Disgraceful ending. He knocked him down, waited and then hit him again. IF they are gonna let that kind of stuff happen they may as well call it MMA. Ref acts like he was paid off. Im sure Dib could have clocked him with a combination and then preceded to pound his head while he was on the canvas and not get a point taken away.
