Dumb.
Two old geezers still out fighting crime in between bouts of arthritis and helping each other change their Depends diapers. Sounds riveting. The 1st two are classics, 3 was ok; never bothered watching 4....5 would be silly and redundant.
The reason i like the first two, is because they have that dark element about them. The 3rd one does this at times, but its too much of a comedy act. The 4th one is ok you should watch it, but again i think its too much of a comedy act again.
The fight scene at the end if you get the uncut version, if brilliant. But i agree a 5th one would be dumb, they tied it up nicely with the 4th one.
The 4th one I have triedd to watch but cannever stay interested past 20 minutes. I wll watch the 1st two anytime though; love the fight scene with Busey and Gibson at the end. Funny how that was maybe one of the 1st times Brazilian Jujitsu was used in a movie; the Gracies actually were asked to help with the scene, way before the UFC came around. So I heard anyways.
By the way Legion before i forget, if you download the directors cut. For Lethal Weapon 4 you get to see. Footage never seen before in Lethal Weapon 1, like the opening scene was supposed to be different. With Martin Riggs having a bar brawl.
The fourth film they looked old as Jet Li battered them, when is Danny Glover going to retire?
I'm right with you legion absolutely love the first and second one. The rest kinda went way down hill for me. Not sure if it was because of Joe Pesci or what but he kinda got on my nerves in those movies.
Pesci and Chris Rock are funny.
Somebody took my phone number and called Afghanistan. Afghanastan. I've never talked to anyone in Afghanistan, I don't know nobody in Afghanistan, and even if did know anyone, I wouldn't talk to that Afghan ass for three hours. I won't talk to my daddy for three hours. ;D
i agree with everyone regarding the first & second film, not keen on 3 but really liked 4, but please not a fifth one as the fourth one finished perfect. they run the risk of spoiling the whole lethal weapon series:mad:
I think the first 2 were 18 Certs? and then they lowered it for 3 and 4 for a bigger audience? Could be wrong but that's usually the crack, that's why I thought Terminator 2 should have been an 18, the violence and swearing was missing.
Oh boy...this is going to be sad.Clearly ol' Gibson did not learn anything from "Thunderdome" ;D
The first was on a couple of weeks ago.One thing that sticks is Mel's fooking hair...O0.Like some sort of ultra-mega man mullet.
When you make one or two good movie of a franchise, the money lure become the greatest threat to ruin in the middle run such franchise. That's exactly what is happening with lethal weapon.
Mel Gibson should just make a Passion of the Christ II ;D Didn't that dude supposedly wake up and go on prancing about the countryside or something? Or Passion of the Christ II:The Beginning...From Immaculate Conception to Pimp Daddy;D
Passion of the Christ 2? ;D
I'm not really interested in a new Lethal Weapon film but I'm quite curious about this new Ghostbusters film that seems to have got the go ahead (not quite related but it is an old franchise with ageing actors). I love the first film, thought the second was alright. But I wonder how this might turn out. The main actors must be in their 50's and Murray hasn't done funny since Lost in Translation and even that had fair shades of morose and moody.
If it's done right it could be very good. But you never know with crappy old Hollywood.
I thought the whole Ghostbusters thing was for the VIDEO GAME where the old guys did voice work for.
Lethal Weapon 5, Danny Glover and Hugo Chavez team up to destroy capitalism! YEAH!!!! :cwm13: ....or maybe Mel Gibson and Jesse Jackson team up to whup the Jews :cwm13:
