Israel Vazquez to be removed from 122 & into pool at 126
I propose that Israel Vazquez has given a clear indication that he won't be fighting at 122 again by giving up his Ring belt & should be removed & put into the pool at Featherweight.
-
Re: Israel Vazquez to be removed from 122 & into pool at 126
I think we should wait until he has at least a bout signed at 126 before putting him into the pool or ranking him
-
Re: Israel Vazquez to be removed from 122 & into pool at 126
I think Vasquez should be emoved from 122 & put into the pool at 126. As Jaz said; he has relinquished his Ring title & stated his intentions to campaign at feather. Plus he has already been inactive at 122 for well over a year

How far does Takahiro Aoh fall after his loss to Elio Rojas?
How far does Takahiro Aoh (currently 5th at 126) fall after his loss to Elio Rojas? 1-3 spots.

Who fills #10 vacancy at Super-Bantamweight?
Posted this up as I was looking through the fight schedule & there's basically nothing that could qualify for 10th spot. Also as hitmanhatton is AWOL (& unless I missed a manager change in which case I apologize), I figured we should fill this vacancy whilst we've got a slow week.
Have not included Rafael Marquez as he has not fought at the weight since March 2008 & his next fight is scheduled to be at Featherweight.

Re: Who fills #10 vacancy at Super-Bantamweight?
I think Escalante could soon be pushing at the door also (although not yet in the pool)
But my vote for now is Mathebula!

How'd you do that? Looks great! I like the size! Should DeLeon lose thje 10th rated fighter will be removed anyway. At least we woulda given em their 15 minutes...

Re: Who fills #10 vacancy at Super-Bantamweight?
I didn't think you could copy and paste it at first, but turns out it fits fine.Makes it a one stop-shop feel lol.I here what your saying on the 15 minutes of recognition, but for me if there is a chance of flux in the short term,I dont want to have to remove a guy we just deemed entry worthy.
Who knows though,Deleon could blow him out and its no big deal at the end of the day. Thanks for the updates dude.

I tend to agree with you, I feel Mathebula's performance vs Caballero was worthy of entry but should DeLeon's opponent do a number on him, I feel its only fair that he enters, forcing everyone down one & #10 out. Plus it looks good for when a vacancy opens up again... was only forced out due to someone entering not a loss

Re: Who fills #10 vacancy at Super-Bantamweight?
I voted to leave it vacant, I think that most of the ranked guys have fights soon. While on paper these look like easy wins, the more fights that happen, the better the chance of an upset.

Although I see where you're coming from, the only fighters with scheduled fights are Juanma, Molitor & Ponce De Leon, all with extremely overmatched opponents. Nishioka might have a fight in October though which might be competitive.
EDIT: Just seen Caballero has a fight with someone called Francisco Leal end of the month

How far should Malcolm Klassen drop?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...therweight.jpg
How far should Malcolm Klassen (currently #2) fall after losing a wide decision to Robert Guerrero (entered at #7, moving up to 2nd)? 1 –3 spots?
I vote 2 spots to settle at 4 pushing down Cassius Baloyi who he had defeated recently.
-
Should Humberto Mauro Gutierrez enter the pool at 130?
Should Humberto Mauro Gutierrez enter the pool at 130 after winning a majority decision over previously unbeaten Sergey Gulyakevich (currently in the pool at 130)?
I think he's earned it
-
Should Sergey Gulyakevich be removed from the pool at 130?
Should Sergey Gulyakevich be removed from the pool at 130 after losing a majority decision to unheralded Humberto Mauro Gutierrez?
I vote that he is removed
-
Re: Should Sergey Gulyakevich be removed from the pool at 130?
I vote he should stay in, I have a feeling he will be back.
-
Re: Should Humberto Mauro Gutierrez enter the pool at 130?
agree, he's earned a pool spot.
-
Re: How far should Malcolm Klassen drop?
two spots is reasonable, he clearly lost most of the rounds, but he was never out of the fight.
-
Re: Should Humberto Mauro Gutierrez enter the pool at 130?
I vote him in. He earned it. Great fight that was.
-
Re: Should Sergey Gulyakevich be removed from the pool at 130?
He should stay in the pool, the fight was close. I agree with Sheep he'll be back in the mix soon.
-
Re: How far should Malcolm Klassen drop?
I never thought much of Klassen. Felt he was always overrated. I would say 3. But there is no way Baloyi should be ranked ahead of him. So I say 2 spots as well

I agree it was a close fight & that Sergey will be back in the future, but its not like he was rated, he was defending his spot in the pool & lost to an unheralded opponent. Sure he could be back but I just feel he should have to earn his way back

Should Lorenzo Parra remain in the pool at 122?
Should Lorenzo Parra remain in the pool at 122 as hasn’t fought since 30th Aug ’08 & has nothing scheduled at this time.
I vote that he should be removed as he has done nothing recently to remain.

Re: Should Lorenzo Parra remain in the pool at 122?
I always been big on Parra. So my bias says leave him. But facts are he ain't done nothing in awhile and might even be finished with Boxing. He needs to go.
-
Re: Should Lorenzo Parra remain in the pool at 122?
Whats the rule for an inactive pool member again? One year?If so, todays his day...see ya
-
Re: Should Lorenzo Parra remain in the pool at 122?
Lorenza Parra drops from the pool because of inactivity. By a vote of 7-0.

How far should Rocky Juarez drop?
http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y18...therweight.jpg
How far should Rocky Juarez (currently #3) drop after losing a wide decision to Chris John?
Advance to 2nd with John moving above the ratings as champ?
1 spot to 3rd
2 spots to 4th
3 spots to 5th

Should Daud Yordan remain in the pool at 130?
Should Daud Yordan remain in the pool at 130? He has been in the pool for 6 months but has not fought at this weight in that time. Both his last 2 fights have been at 126.
So should he remain in the pool at 130 or be moved to the pool at Feather or be put in both the 130 & 126 pools?
I think he should be moved to the pool at 126 only
-
Should Rafael Marquez remain in the pool at 122?
Should Rafael Marquez (in the pool at 126 & 122) remain in the pool at 122? It has been 6 months since he entered the pool & he has not fought at this weight in that time. His last fight was at 126.
I vote he should be removed.
-
Should Billy Dib remain in the pool at 126?
Should Billy Dib remain in the pool at 126? He has been in the pool for 6 months & his only fight in that time is a 1 round no contest against Kenichi Yamaguchi in July.
-
Re: How far should Rocky Juarez drop?
he's still below John-so what's the problem?:)
-
Re: How far should Rocky Juarez drop?
I voted 1 spot to 3rd.. although to be honest he should stay right where he is, at least until the people below him win their next fight.
