I've seen a few people eat the tarmac before... and they haven't just had bruising... the skin has been grazed too... it's not as if concrete/tarmac/asphalt etc is perfectly smooth.
Looking at that video it looks much more like he's been hit by or with something.
Obviously I don't know but it's not beyond the realms of possibility that rather than dissapearing from his youtube channel for a bit - he would rather keep the videos up and make up some bullshit story.
Either way its pretty hilarious to be honest.
