Saw it on Sky it will be PPV. I think Haye will stop Valuev but will not pay to see it. Will anyone else here pay for it?
-

Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
you would have to be a mixture of wealthy and stupid to actually pay £15 to watch a nikolay valuev fight
sure the haye factor is exciting but seriously............................NIKOLAY VALUEV
id rather piss £15 away on betting on burnley to win the premiership than that!!
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
You better make sure the fight is actually going to happen before you part with your money
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I will go 'round to my Dad's house and reluctantly make him pay :D
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
Have they decided were the fight is taken place yet?
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
Bit patheic this is on PPV considering he is fighting a less exciting fighter than John Ruiz and also Haye hasnt exactly got the biggest fanbase in the world, probably catch it on one of them £2 quid streams.

Funny as........ I'd pay £15 quid to see that clown act Valuev floored for sure.....
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
Nah, I'm not paying for it.
It's not as bad as paying for Khan, but I think paying for it only encourages them and before you know it we'll be paying for any half baked shite.
The original plans were for Mayweather v Marquez to be ppv iirc. However, they did a u turn.

Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
Upgraded today back to sky on cable which costs £19 per month. I intend to have it for a couple of months and watch the repeat of the Haye fight.

First of all i'd like to know!! What the F..K is wrong with the mighty(est) clarets? Lol
Nah but seriously, I'd pay £100 to see this fight. Can't wait to see the hairyman crawling around on the floor ala Tyson Vs Douglas! Also can't wait to see the belt around Haye's waist and see him become a 2 weight champ, although really he needs to get rid of both Klits to become the "Real Champ"!
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I'd love to watch it.How much, and who else is on the billing??

Betdaq has Haye at 1.52 and Valuev at 2.7.
Betfred has Haye at 1.40 and Valuev at 2.88.
I do fancy a bit of a flutter on Nikolay, he's dull but fairly effective.
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I will be paying for it.I would be out on the piss normally on sat nights so the Haye fight is an excuse to stay in and save a few quid.
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I won't spend a dime on it, come back to this forum the morning after to see what is the general opinion about it and download the fight to see it a few days after, I am sure it will be as exciting as watching my neighbor painting her gallery.

You don't live in the UK, so you don't need to worry about spending anything on it ;)
In fact, it will be free in Germany

Hmmm, that's interesting, but I reckon you could say they both have about the same experience vs class heavyweights, so that may explain it. ;)
I don't really care who wins, I just want the winner to step forward and fight either Wladimir or Vitali so we can have the closest thing to 1 heavyweight champion.

If Haye does become HW champion, the money available to fight a Klitschko (both from UK & US TV) will be too much not to go for it. Who knows he might even reach popularity levels unseen since the days of Henry Akinwande ;D
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
depending on the fight time, which I would have thought will be about half ten or so UK, then this will be on in the pubs I expect so can watch for free.
If not I will defo pay. Although I think Haye is a lazy guy who should be in the ring way more I like him and would love to see him become a major player in the heavyweight division.
Will be interesting to see how he deals with Valuev

OH really? Schön, we get all germany's network here in Luxebourg plus I am likely to move to Freiburg, Germany, within 2 or 3 weeks. So finally, maybe I will see it live instead of simply waiting to see what my fellow Saddo interlocutors have to say about it the day after.. (though the opinions about it will matter to me and I will be eager still to read them) :)

They are great odds in truth for Valuev, we saw what happened to Holyfield I think them odds are great.

ive seen bigger
pretty sure paddypower had him out at 11/4 at one point. Ignore all hayes bullshit about needing a knockout, haye will quite happily run rings around valuev for 12rounds without over commiting himself which is what i fully expect to see happen

Haye does have to worry about the judges, especially in Germany, and remember what happened to Holyfield against Valuev. Haye will try for the KO but not all costs.

2.88 is bigger than 11/4 mate.
£10 at 11/4 pays £27.5
£10 at 2.88 pays £28.80. ;D

Sorry to rain on your parade mate, but decimal odds include the stake. So have amended your figures and smiley.

Hahaha, my stupid mistake, apologies to Hammer duh!!!
2.88 is actully 15/8 so 11/4 is much better!!! Pass the dunce hat to me ;D

Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I think Valuev wins inside 10 , i think Haye will run out of gas
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
I just cannot see see Haye beating him. I'd love him to, but how can you beat a guy when you can barley reach his face!?
Valuev is just too much of a monster and not a slow one either. He has a good work rate for a big guy.
I think it's a step too far for Haye.
-
Re: David Haye v Nikolai Valuev PPV
Haye will win one way or the another. Valuev has aged significantly, he will put a better performance than he did against Holyfield but he has been wobbled and Haye has speed and power. Haye will stop late in the fight.

Most definitely, I was there the day Lucas lost to beyer... it was an outrage seriously, even the german next to us couldn't believe Beyer did win the match.

Valuev clubs, plain and simply, I could picture him as a lumberjack getting tree down, more than as a boxer actually. The thing with him is his massiveness, I wonder if working the body on him has any chances of success at all if you do not weight 230 pounds.
