Proves what a shit promoter Hennessey is when the main support to a world title fight being shown on Showtime is a a part time fighter who is a bricklayer.

Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
Is Fury gonna rematch McDermott on the undercard? That would put something on the table at least.
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
This is a terribly poor undercard for a world title fight.....
Gonna enjoy the night there though. Gonna be there and can't wait....

Yes that would of been a nice fight to have on the card, apparently Hennessey offers the fight to Mcdermott's people but they said it's to soon.

Nope, apparently Hennessy was offered 100k and declined, looks like another ppv internet job.

I don't like Froch but I have to respect him for fighting these dangerous opponents so soon after winning the belt
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
don't like froch? he talks a lot of trash and is exciting as hell in the ring. good guy.

He contractually has to now right? As being part of the tournament
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
Fair enough..but did he have to sign up for the tourny? I guess I respect him for signing up.
I mean, I can't imagine Joe Calzaghe having signed up for a tourney like that, even after 10 defences of his belt.
sumkalambay, I like trash talkers but don't tend to like trash talkers who havn't done anything yet (in Frochs case, he has a belt but hadn't fought anyone until his last fight). Froch did get a great win against Taylor though, I'll give him that. We'll see how he gets on in this tourney.

Froch also beat pascal, don't discredit that one. I watched Pascal beat Diaconu for the Light Heavyweight Belt and he was pretty great in that fight against a game beast of a fighter in Diaconu. Froch's win against Pascal will mean much more as time goes on I can assure you. All it'll take is for Pascal to beat a couple more guys and everyone will be like ohhhhh so that was a good win.....

Apparently the British Boxing Board has ordered the rematch. I have read it on a couple sites now. Here is one
UK Boxing News: Derek Chisora; Tyson Fury; Darren Barker

oh my god that so lame it isnt even worth bothering with
glover got his arse handed to him not 2 weeks back and stopped in 6, never even heard of the other fella
Only possible name i know of on there is fury and he`ll only be fighting some guy with a record of 6-27 from eastern europe
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
I'm guessing Showtime are only going to show the Froch fight from that card. I read about the 100K offer from UK TV too. For Hennessy to turn it down must mean he's expecting well over 10 000 people to shell out and watch it on the net. I'd love to know how many people paid for the Taylor fight.
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
I don't know about the undercard, but this is going to be one of those fights that's so unbelievably one-sided as Dirrell cruises by Froch.

Care for a sig bet? Dirrell is too fast and unlike Taylor he won't gas out at the end of the fight.

i`ll call your bluff on that
lets say 20k imaginary reps??
Re: Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell undercard
Undercard looks pretty lame in all honesty, might be interesting to see Fury in with someone decent again. If McDermott needs more time to pile on the pies though, I guess it will be the European journeyman previously mentioned.
