Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan seems to know his limititions now thank to the loss to Prescott and having Roach as his trainer.
How would a rematch with prescott go now?
Since they fought Khan has won the wba belt and Prescott has lost his last fight.
Boxing is a strange old game.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan. He would have a real gameplan this time and Prescott's just not very good. I suspect he'll retire with that Khan win still as his best win.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan. That loss made him a much better fighter. He'd take Prescott to school in a big way.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
As has been already said I think Khan would be to cleaver for Prescott now so I dont see why the match cant be made If Presscott got a few wins under his belt.
I am sure SKY tv and Frank Warren would give it a big build up about faceing the man who KOed him in less than a minute.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
If Khan is any sort of a man he will avenge that loss, but I have not heard those words uttered out of his mouth, but there is potential for a fight with morales.
I give anyone a punchers chance vs Khan, though he did look good-ish vs Kotelnik no matter how much arm and glove he may have hit.

yea i'll admit Khan isn't utter shit, but IMO he's nowhere as good as he's been hyped to be, and as soon as he even takes a gander at elite level competition he'll get beat, he's a decent fighter with a tissue paper chin, he'll really get my respect if regardless the outcome, he'd take on the real names at 140, and not play it safe as he's already pretty much doing with first Kotelnik, and now Salita
if Khan steps into the ring against Maidana, Ortiz, Bradley, Holt, or even Bailey and Urango, i'll give him credit just for taking the fight

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
I reckon it would end the same.
Prescott would just walk through Khan and I think that will be Warrens and Roachs concern every time he goes near anyone with a ecent punch and that is actually naturally in Khans weight.
Khan is just another investement that will go tits up as far as Warren is concerned.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan would win by wide decision maybe even shutout......After watching prescott I realize he is not skilled. He is very frustrating to watch.......doesnt let his hands go.
-
Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Prescot would blast him out again. Con's chin is to big a handicap. Even Prescot's jab was hurting Con.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan by early waxing. The Colombian is 95% hype. Most "bombers" from Colombia lose badly when they leave their homeland. There are exceptions like Urango, but I am prepared to prove my point and will do so in my next book.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Not a fan of Khan but Prescott was pretty well outboxed and out hustled by obscure Vazquez in his last outing....His power was on and off against landshark POS Toledo, and looked to box more.Think...cough...Prescott comes up short and banking on his power alone wont get it done with a 140 Khan.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
People can dog on Prescott all they want, but the fact is he put Khan out cold and it showed just how chinny Khan is. All it would take is one shot to take the legs from out under him. When Amir has to fight Maidana I think all the Khan hype will be gone unless they somehow avoid that

What's that say about Con who got waxed by a 95% hype fighter?

You seem to be looking past the point that Khan is a whole new fighter since his loss to Prescott.. his defense has improved shed loads, his overall boxing skills have improved and most importantly he's a smarter fighter.. he doesn't run in looking for the early KO, like he did against Prescott.
I would agree with the majority and say Khan wins a wide UD, maybe even stoppage.. but Prescott would always have a chance of landing one clean bomb, which is all it would take to turn the fight upside down.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
I would go with Khan as well, this guy is coated with talent and is much more mature than when he lost to Prescott, this time with Papa Roach by his side, he would just turn the tide over Prescott and pepper him a big time.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
dumbfounded question really
the 1st fight was a bump contest because khan walked on to one within 30seconds and never recovered.
How the 2nd fight would pan out is anybodys guess as i dont see khan falling for the same trick twice. If you go on both of their last performances then you would have to say its a banker for khan.....but prescott did knock him out in 50seconds!!

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Prescot would spark him again, his chin is awful he was wobbled by a jab from Prescot! just because he headbutts Barrera and runs and punch's Kotelnik's gloves for 12 rounds doesn't make him a good fighter. As soon as he's put in with a puncher he'll be done again. You can be sure he'll avoid Maidana as well...

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Khan by UD if he gets intelligent. I still have high hopes for Khan despite his humiliating loss from Prescott.
-
Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
Anything could happen if this fight takes place. Khan could totally school him or he could quite as easily ket KOed in the first round again

It doesn't matter if Con is a smarter fighter. He will not go 12 rounds without getting hit once. One shot is all Prescott needs. Con chin is that weak. Seriously what is so hard to understand about that?

against Prescott, no, i think Khan grew up a bit and Prescott has been badly exposed, but against a top 5 jr welter yea i see him getting stopped by a few

if Prescot could wobble him with a jab it doesn't matter how good his gameplan is, plus with his new gameplan he's no punch power so he definitly isn't stopping Prescot, can he run for 12 rounds without Prescot landing a jab to wobble him out of his rythm? personally I don't think he can Prescot ko rd 1 again.

Re: Who would win a Khan-Prescot rematch if it ever takes place?
I got an email from the Khan website saying they missed me the other day.
And yesterday I got an email saying Khan has signed to fight a bum.
Who cares about Khan? He's a pile of shite and will get found out as soon as a punch lands on the china. Not interesting at all.
