I already posted the video in this thread. ;)

Hey Taeth thanks for that post regardless if it was posted by Lust first in another thread, I missed the post by Lust in the first thread on the Super Six and thought it was a pretty good video, glad you put it up or I may have missed it, hey none as can read every post so some get missed.
Thanks for the post.
for the super six, just the overall winner.
Getting them in now is kind of tough but it will help avoid the "I really picked Calzaghe over Lacy even though I didn't join the board till six months later" situation.
I'll keep a list on this thread of who picked who.
And I don't know yet, I haven't thought about it, I'll make a pick by today or before the fights Saturday.
Andre Ward: Amat, OumaFan, Magnum, Majesty, Bilbo
Carl Froch: LBSCFC, Master
Mikkel Kessler: Youngblood, Skel, RyanMan89, Gest12645, Spicoli, CFH, Killersheep, Kirkland Laing, Iwng, hfarenheit, Miles, Holmcall
Arthur Abraham: Jon09, KingFrank
Jermain Taylor: JT Rock, ViolentDemise, Pugilist
Andre Dirrell- OumaFan
I'll go all in on Andre Ward. And we all know I picked Calzaghe, ignorant American fools.
gonna be great this tournament. kesslers the fave but you could make a case for all of em. I think Froch can do it though
So that's Froch for you? I will accept Froch as an answer, albeit reluctantly. I put out a press release about that.
Carl Froch will win.
I think this thread may be key in how we implement that random drug testing policy we've been floating around out there. When the poster's union gets together we'll figure this out.
Who is Froch's second fight? I'd say if Ward won this fight in November he would just have a significantly easier time navigating through his next fight then the rest. If Ward can beat Kessler it's pretty safe to say he'll beat Taylor, I would almost pick him regardless of how he performs against Kessler. I think he beats Kessler, certainly Kessler is physically imposing but I'm not sure he has the demeanor to go into attack mode. Calzaghe beat Kessler with his feet more then anything, Ward has the best footwork in the tournament bar possibly Kessler imo. I just think it's a good pick, and it would be stupid to abandon ship at this point even though Kessler is a beast.
All right I picked Ward solely for the reason that I just can't have this thread be sullied by having Froch in the lead.
Well if the whole board picks Froch and Ward then we might all be in for a piss test.
Kessler. Book it.
Arthur Abraham beats em all
Hard one for me, Im goona go Kessler.
Froch's second fight is Kessler.
I'm going for Kessler to win the whole thing. Chalk me up for Kessler.
I cant decide on a clear cut winner, this tournament will prove historic and pivotal to decide the unequivocal heir at 168. When the dust settles there will be no if, ands or buts, just a collection of word class operators and some new comers to the dance who waged war to prove their prominence at SuperMiddle
So many factors and variables on these men anyone is certainly capable of winning the whole thing. I am going to make a bold prediction out of heart alone and who I'm pulling for
Jermain " Bad Intentions" Taylor
On a side note, did the ring go on record and say they would recognize the winner of this tournament as their champion? I would assume so, but you never know
No, the Ring isn't going to have it's vacancy filled at least not yet. Kessler is 1, Bute is 2. There is no working around that, Ward is 9 so there won't be a champion in the first round. By the end of the thing I'm sure someone will be able to jump Bute and we can have a 1,2 bout for the Ring belt. As of right now, no.
The Ring offered to supply belts to the 1978 Don King US championship tournament that had a huge negative fallout.
I'm rooting for the Taylor but it's
KESSLER
Andre Ward.
As far as this weekend I'm picking dirrell and taylor.
Said it from the start. Jermain Taylor will revive his career by winning the tournament
Kessler and Froch
Kessler Taylor or Abraham I can't make my mind up but I'm leaning towards Kessler. Froch definitely will NOT beat Kessler by the way, Kessler is way too skilled and too tough for him.
I actually think Taylor will do well, but still lose a UD. I see him taking the first few rounds, outworking and outmoving. But Abraham turns it on later and wears him down. A stoppage is possible but i see taylor managing to see the bell. Abraham winning a close(ish) but clear decision, say about 116-112
I'm really unsure how the Froch-Dirrell fight will go. I've predicted a Froch stoppage but am far from certain. Thats mostly based on Dirrell's suspect chin in Hamshaw fight to be honest.
Kessler.
I'm taking Kessler he has the most well rounded skills, power, and experience combo.
I not saying he's the most skilled boxer, or fastest or strongest. But he is the most overall solid in all categories combined.
Abraham. 168 might be a better weight for him
Kessler wins it all, though he loses once along the way. I actually think each fighter will lose at least once.
Yea i agree, i can't see anyone going through unbeaten. Its a tough ask, not just due to the level of opposition but the relentless nature of it. There are bound to be gruelling battles along the way, which even the winner will suffer from. Then they have no chance for a softer fight or a long lay-off, its straight back in (4 months or so) to another hard fight.
At fight i was goin for Froch but now thinkin about it he could easily be outboxed and was against Taylor until he got tired and couldnt go on.
I believe that the punchers will be the ones to win the tournament not the boxers so i will go with Arthur Abraham as he is more well rounded that Froch.
Arthur Abraham is my pick.
Well it's a tough one for me, I'm a huge fan of the Cobra so can't go against my man, BUT I agree with Amat (he will be pleased) in that Andre Ward is my favourite.
He's not a big puncher but he's simply too good a boxer not to win rounds, and if his chin and toughness hold up I don't see how the others beat him.
Abraham relies on overpowering his opponents later in the fight, if he can't overpower Ward he loses, simple as that, Ward will just bank too many early rounds.
Froch will need to KO Ward to win imo, and I don't think that's likely.
Ward to me is more seasoned than Dirrell.
Against Taylor, I think Jermain will be mentally beaten by the time such a fight took place, he may not even continue in the tournament if Abraham does a number on him, Green may yet get brought in imo.
Kessler is a tough fight, but I honestly don't see anything that special in Kessler. He's a very solid and tough guy with good fundamentals but I don't see him as some kind of superstar in the making. Ward has home advantage and I think he will simply outbox Kessler and win a fairly comfortable decision. Kessler is solid, but he's not scary at all. Nobody will go in against Kessler with fear in their eyes, he's not a huge KO guy, he doesn't ruin fighters, he hasn't got Floyd Mayweather skills or Manny's speed, he's just solid, an elite fighter with a good gameplan will beat him, just like Calzaghe showed. I think Ward has the potential to be an elite boxer, and I think he will outbox Kessler. If he finds a way to negate Kesslers jab he wins the fight imo. Kessler doesn't have monstrous power to worry about, so its not like Ward will be walking a tightrope, he will just outbox Kessler in a reasonable entertaining fight.
I honestly think Ward wins every single fight and is declared a superstar by the end of the tournament.
I would love Froch to win, and if not him Taylor, but these two simply have too many weaknesses. Froch cannot KO everybody in this tournament, and he may need to if he's going to win it, and Jermain although he's great in flashes and I think could upset Abraham simply isn't consistent enough to put in a winning run against fighters of the calibre that are in this tournament. He's going to become a train wreck at some point.
So, I side with Ouma and Amat in declaring Ward the winner.
well full disclosure I've put myself down for Andre Ward and Andre Dirrell and am giving some consideration to Kessler.
I'm gonna go with Taylor.
Not because i think he will win but because i want him too.
