Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
Just looking at her smug face makes me want to bash it in.
I hope to God she doesn't win anything but support money for their son, and her personal belongings. I mean she is trying to cut his daughter out of receiving anything. What a biatch.
She's penniless? Well go get a job. She was a stripper afterall, so she knows how to do something at least.
Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
...what did the final autopsy conclude?
-
Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
Don't know what to think really.
I mean if she didn't kill him and he did write a will giving her everything how can she not be entitled to it?
I mean if your husband died and you were named as the sole beneficiary in the will you'd fight to uphold that right? Even beyond the money and selfish reasons, it was what he himself wanted.
Sure I also think it sounds very shady. I mean he changes his will and dies in mysterious circumstances three weeks later......
It's a really tough one.
If she manipulated him into changing his will and was then responsible for his death she should be left to rot in jail forever, but if she really is entirely innocent, lost her husband, then got thrown in jail for murdering him, and now even though legally entitleld to his will and named as the sole benefactor, his family are trying to deny her what's hers, then she's had a miserable time.
Unfortunately I guess there is no way of knowing which story is true.
-
Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
Moral of the story....never ever marry a schizo stripper. Surely not a recipe for happy ever afters. :-\
-
Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
well isn't that convenient, they take out a will allegedly 3 weeks before his death, and she's the sole beneficiary, if anyone else thinks it was suicide they're smoking some strong shit, feel bad for their son, and seriously in the perfect world Gatti's parents would get custody of the child and she'd be left just as is without a cent

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
The autopsy revealed that apparently Gatti really hung himself up with the purse or got hung there but the conclusions aren't final yet because there is a load of information remaining to be processed. The last thing I'Ve read about it (in Quebec french medias as the affair over here is seriously huge) is that they aren't sure if somebody wouldn't have helped her to kill Gatti and that's what they are investigating at the moment, that and some bruises they did found on his body. They also found an abnormal rate of some medicine in his body which aren't normally found without some prescription or something like that, medicine we can more or less only find in Brazil and they are looking for the possibility where Gatti would have been induced these medicines into him to alterate his judgment, at least, these are the things studied at the moment, also needing some stuff that the Brazilian authorities haven't given to Michael Baden yet. Whenever I read something new about it (assuming I get my hand over it before somebody else over here), I'll be more than glad to share it with ya.

that's the first thing that popped into my head when they threw the BS "she's too small to lift his body", right now she's planning on getting an estimated 10 million if she wins the proceeding, giving her more than enough money to pay someone to help her out

Especially in Brazil where it doesn't cost much to corrupt anybody... Anybody could have been hidden into the loft at this stage and if the card to unlock the door is inside the slot, then the door is unlocked and peoples can come in as well. It smells terribly bad and I hope with all my might that she won't go away with it.

Some good info there!..
Maybe there is a glimmer of hope for some justice. I'd say it's pretty obvious she was also a hooker, and will have an abundance of seedy contacts.
The only thing that concerns me, is how susceptable are the Brazilian police to a brown envelope?

Do you really think that scenario is more likely than the guy was suffering from depression, got drunk as fuck, had a terrible row/fight with his wife, got even more drunker than fuck and decided to hang himself?

Maybe. Not quite so ludicrous as it sounds. And then you factor in the will and all that added crap. The police are not always like in the uk.

first off having already had an uncle murdered in a situation much like this one, no i don't find it ludicrous or that hard to believe, there are a bunch of sick fucks in this world who are willing to do anything cause of greed, and i wouldn't doubt that this is just another example of it happening

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
The Brazilian and Canadian autopsies both found he died through hanging.. with no injuries to suggest he was hung by other people.

haha Fenster, you are often the voice of sanity on these boards.
My favourite post in relation to this that you pointed out on was Pride of Boston, when he said ok so we don't happened but I know she did it, kind of absurd posting.
Everybody assuming she is just some kind of gold digging murdering whore, is doing just that, assuming.

"The autopsy found no signs the Italian-Canadian boxer was tied up or beaten, Montreal newspaper La Presse reported."
if you're drugged you're not gonna put up much of a struggle
"According to the autopsy carried out by the Quebec coroner, there were no injuries to suggest he was hung by other people, La Presse reported.
However, toxicologists found a substance that causes drowsiness, the newspaper reported."
it's one of those cases of, no one knows what the fuck happened there besides the ones who were involved

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
So are the quotes of her false also. She was quoted, in the news sources, that she thought someone followed him from the bar and broke in and murdered him. If she wasn't quoted wrong, then why would she have considered it a MURDER, if it were only self inflicted suicide.

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
Her husband died I'm sure she was examining the possibilities. If "they" so elaborately staged the hanging, why would she say she thought he was murdered? Why wouldn't she sell the hanging?
Really, people need to let go of this subject and especially lighten up on the girl who had to deal with her husband's death in a jail cell. Now's probably the time to remember Gatti for the life he lived and the fights he gave us.

like i said, no one knows what happened besides whoever was there when it happened, but the girl doesn't give the impression that she's all that bright

Nor does she seem all that amiable, nor respectable.
Maybe Gatti did kill himself, but bloody hell. What does it take to get a father of a young kid to get to the stage where hanging himself seems the only way through? A downright peculiar case if ever there was one.
-
Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
She was his wife, and in the will so she'll get money. But how much and how is the question.
I would recommend she gets dollar bills stuffed in her g-string daily until whatever financial obligation is filled. Let the kids gets the rest respectably.

I honestly don't understand why most people (on this site at least) seem more contented with the idea that Gatti was murdered than took his own life.
Seriously.. it's a million times worse to be murdered, right? :-\

The guy's found with an abnormal quantity of medicine in his body (i.e stuff which you can only find in Brazil), goes there for honeymoon and he would all of a sudden crumble and commit suicide with his wife's strap purse... Especially when according to everybody who were close to him, he was doing hefty fine... Yeah you're right, there is nothing fishy there, especially after the police changed the version of the facts and changed the inspector in the meantime and especially knowing how corruption is in Brazil, you can disagree with the murder version, I have no problems with it but from here to "laugh" at peoples thinking there is something fishy in there there is an incredible gap as every elements to think something is fishy are just well positioned together.

Abnormal quantity of medicine only found in Brazil? Is this fresh news? Because last I read was this - According to the autopsy carried out by the Quebec coroner, there were no injuries to suggest he was hung by other people, However, toxicologists found a substance that causes drowsiness, the newspaper reported.
It doesn't say how much of the medicine there was or what it was. And how do you know Gatti didn't ingest it himself?
He was doing FINE according to everyone who knew him? That's not what i've read.
He was on the second honeymoon trying to patch up marriage problems they were having. It was reported he had been suffering from depression, was having problems with drink and drugs. She had recently had to get a restraining order out on him.
On the night he died he had drank 2 bottles of wine and around 7 cans of beer, had atacked his wife in public and then fought people coming to her aid. That hardly sounds FINE.
I'm not laughing at you for thinking it's "fishy." But it sure is imaginative to have people hiding in lofts and what not when a guy who was reportedly suffering from depression was found lying under an open staircase with a strap round his neck, and two autopsies found there were no signs of strangulation, no signs that he'd been tied up or beaten, both concluded he died by hanging.
Occam's razor? ;)

Re: Gatti's widow wants boxer's $6M estate – and the dog
It amazes me how people think they know the TRUE Gatti just because they have followed his fights as a boxing fan.
Same thing happened with tyson.Just coz we watch there fights, and listen to them speak we dont really know who they are outside of boxing.
Its a FACT that the man had big problems going on in his head.
Baced on what I have read about Gatti it would be no supprise if he killed himself.
But the truth is we are not in a position to say what happened because we are not experts in the field.
A lot of the people on hear who offer there opinions are just blinded from the truth by there love of the boxing hero Gatti who they watch in the ring rather than the real gatti who we did not really know outside it.
For the record,I think Gatti did take his own life but if evidence says otherwise I would be willing to change my mind.
