Liakovich Briggs was definetly one, I remember watching that with my roomate who wasn't a boxing fan, needless to say it cemented his stance.
Roy Jones vs Tarver III was really a shit fight, Roy had like one or two rounds where he actually threw punches and Taver couldn't do anything, but Roy did nothing for the other 10 rounds, nothing worse than watching a guy just not trying.
Zahir Raheem vs Freitas was an awful fight, just an ugly clash of styles where neither guy deserved a win.
1) Johnny Nelson -v- Osvaldo Ocasio.
2) Johnny Nelson -v- James Warring.
3) Mike Tyson -v- James Bonecrusher Smith (possibly the only boring fight that Tyson was ever involved in).

Look no further than Johnny Nelson v Carlos DeLeon , this was the only so called fight in boxing history were both fighters were nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize after the "fight".
They both shared something in common with Michael Jackson that night ----they wore gloves for no apparent reason.;D
It's wired, as much as i might moan about the fighter, i can never remember moaning about the actual fight
I even appreciated the Skelton-Sprott fight!
To sum it up for me; i can dislike a particular style as an individual but i will always admire any blend of styles... For me, that's the main appeal of Boxing.

Evander Holyfield vs Vaughn Bean
Oscar De La Hoya vs Felix Trinidad

You reminded me of Hopkins vs. Tarver thought that was boring.
Where in the world do you get "worst" from Zab getting his ass beat by a journeyman from?
Baldo rocked Zab and had him dancing around the ring like a ballerina.
Pretty entertaining fight IMO.
I also don't agree with Vitali-Peters?
I used to watch Baldomir-Zab all the time! That wasn't a boring fight at all, if anything Spinks-Judah 1 was a boring fight that isn't mentioned much.
For me only 3 realllly stand out.
1. Chris Byrd-Davyrll Williamson
This undercard to Toney-Guinn, also on the same night as another big fight (Tarver-Jones III maybe?), the next week was Wladimir Klitschko-Samuel Peter fight which I was looking forward too as much as humanly possible. It was the most amped I was for the heavyweight division ever at this time. THIS FIGHT SUCKED. Oh my God, I have never seen 2 fighters never even get the action started and being content with fighting HORRIBLE fights. There is no reason you should ever get THAT with two people in a ring for 12 rounds. I remember they were talking about withholding the purse which for Byrd was a lot. The worst fight I have ever sit through completely. Something might happen? Oh my God, I was actually doing the RBR that night while Wacko did the HBO card. It's pretty funny to read in retrospect. Also, I scored the fight for Williamson. It was given to Byrd but I thought Williamson won. I don't care arguing it and I DEFINITELY won't go back and rescore it anytime soon.
2. Andre Dirrell - Curtis Stephens
Both were big time boxers in the amatuers at the same time and Stephens coming out was as good of a prospect as there was. He had a KO loss on his record and we saw in this fight that he just wasn't going to be a great fighter. I was so pumped for this one and then it was just Dirrell potshotting then at times literally running away from Stephens. Good footwork, ect. blah blah blah I don't care what anyone says this fight sucked in the worst way possible. Too bad Anthony Dirrell got derailed like he did, that's what I was thinking at the time. Dirrell has come back in a big way but this was a pathetic fight.
3. Jose Luis Castillo-Rolando Reyes
Rolando Reyes must have been thinking he had the opportunity of a lifetime, to fight in place of Diego Corrales against Jose Luis Castillo, a win could send his career to heights even he probably couldn't imagine. If nothing else, give the crowd a good fight and get on people's radar to come see you fight live. He gave the most pathetic effort you could imagine. I remember Castillo at times just planting his feet and standing still daring Reyes to come forward just a little bit and Reyes darted away, like Castillo was planning something :cwm13:
Mario Ramos - Demetrius Hopkins
Larry Holmes Vs. Butterbean ;D
Agree totally , and for that fact the same can be said for a considerable amount of late Tyson fights. Bragging rights about how I beat a legend only count when the legend can still knock you on your ass and make you look a fool, not a yesterday's man living in the past.
