Id take Marquez to beat him.
i think he beats marquez now.
He might well be the best. I love fighters like him, it's just a shame he got royally screwed against a Guzman who was way out of his depth.

IMO Juan Manuel Marquez is the best lightweight around skillwise even considering he is probably not on his prime anymore. We have to remember this is the Funeka who was dropped by Nate Campbell twice.
i still think marquez is the best lightweight in the world but funeka isn't far off. if they ever do fight which i doubt they ever will, funeka just might outwork marquez but the thing marquez has going for him that guzman didn't have is power. funeka got dropped by nate campbell and if that was marquez dropping him, marquez would have closed the show. right now i have marquez the top lightweight, funeka a close second and valero third.

ali funeka reminds me physical wise like a paul williams in that he has an automatic height and reach advantage over all his opponents. he's a lightweight's nightmare.
