Dude, Paul landed more punches but a lot of them were pitty pat punches. Sergio was rocking him all night long. I agree it was a close fight but anything more than 7-5 either way is crazy.
I had it a draw (5-5) after round 10 just like lederman's card. But Martinez won the 11th and final round.
10-2 for Williams or 119-110 Williams is idiotic.

Very close and hard fight to score. I had it 7-5 Williams. I was wondering when someone was going to take advantage of Williams' forgetful defense. Fight could've gone either way.
10-2 is horrible, 8-4 for Paul is bad. I could see it 8-4 for Martinez since i had it 115-113 for him . Good fight and rematch should be made
i had this fight a draw and i think it will definitely be the fight of the year. i'm sure there will be a rematch as the fans will definitely want to see this great match again.

Im going to do the same tomorrow sheepman. I watched and loved the fight but didn't even think scoring. Which is fun to do from time to time as opposed to scoring them I found. But my overall impression was it was just a great close fight that could easily have went either way. I knew of Williams and expected him to romp, and was surprised by and became a fan of Martinez. People sure do have some terrible scorecards recently, Breidis Prescott winning and now Sergio Martinez only winning 2 rounds, what the hell seriously ?
Its clear as day Sergio Martinez won the 1st 3 rounds, he also won the 8th round clearly where he almost put Paul Williams down, in the last 30 seconds. And he clearly won the 10th round aswell.
Thats easily 5 rounds he won, i didn't think the fight was that hard to score personally. Except for the last 2 rounds, which people seem to differ in opinion.
But mostly its either 115-113 for either guy, or a draw. I personally had it 114-114.
