Pavlik/Espino as a PPV is a joke. Espino is a glorified club fighter who is very easy to hit. This should be another Palik/Lockett. Props to Espino for taking the fight but who the hell is going to pay for this? I'll read about it the morning after cuz this fight would just barely be suitable for B.A.D.

It's not a great matchup on paper but it's not Kelly's fault, its his mandatory and if he doesn't take it he's stripped of his middleweight belt so what can he do?
Plus Espino is game, he can box a bit and has a big heart. I reckon he will put up a better show than you think.
I really have no interest in either fighter.

It's a slow, deliberate process... this PPV scam. Slowly but surely, they continue lowering the bar on the fights that are PPV. Most people start off saying, quite correctly, "I wouldn't pay to watch that sh*t". But eventually, they wear the consumers down, to where it's commonplace to pay for the mundane, crappy fight. When in the past did people imagine they'd have to pay to take a dump in a pay toilet?
It should really be shown on free TV thats for sure.

Martinez AND Williams could beat Kelly at this point IMO. I think Martinez opened alot of people's eyes "Beating" Cintron and then having a fantastic war with the Punisher.

To be fair i can see pavlik fans buying this but other than that, you can't buy crap like this then bitch they don't offer good cards or fights, shit if i could make bread off this fight somehow i would too. Let me say this though, although i blame pavlik for about 20% of all this crap for going along with the game. I think the real teet suckers involved are the big wigs already fithy fuckin rich prying just one last time into boxing fans's pocket. Pavlik is pretty much being forced to fight this guy or he'd be stripped of his worthless belts. But it's not my place to say how much his belts should be worth to him so whatever....this fight for whatever reason still sucks cack bottom line. Look, I'm not saying that Pavlik wasn't hurt, didn't get an infection or have a reaction to the antibiotics but what I'm saying is... Pavlik was too injured to take on an elite fighter but will fight a mandatory(regardless of the caliber) to keep his garbage belts. This is what's wrong with the sport... I truely think that all those things happened to Kelly but it would have done the sport well to have him relinquished the belts to get 100% so he could fight a live body. Espino might last 6 rounds if Kelly is at 85%...
Instead, we're all gonna have to wait another 8 to 10 months to see Kelly in the ring with someone of any merit.
