friday fight nights back...
happy days ;D;D;D
Hardly a classic this week but should be entertaining at the very least what with it being the dolan-norton rematch
Re: friday fight nights back...
It may not have the biggest of names in it but I think it's got a decent few match-ups in there.
I'll be rooting for Dolan in the main event for sure, I've like the way he conducts himself and wish him all the best. Also we get Mark Thompson's biggest challenge since his valiant defeat to Vincent Vuma, where he showed a warrior's heart but a novice's flaws, as he goes against Kevin McIntyre.
Throw in two punchers swinging for the fences in the Renda-Samuels rematch, and it makes a fair combination for me. Plenty more good stuff on the horizon as well.
Re: friday fight nights back...
dolan v norton 1 was a good fight, i enjoyed it and i am looking forward to tomorrow night
Re: friday fight nights back...
something to do on a friday I suppose. :-\
Re: friday fight nights back...
dolan v norton will be a quality fight dude
it aint all about pacman ve mayweather all the time
in fact you might even get a better fight than that would be, dolan norton 1 was better than most of mayweathers fights

Re: friday fight nights back...
Cmon yourself missy. I take the point about skill but are you saying you'd rather watch Mayweather jab and move for 36 minutes against a guy who can't get within 5 yards of him rather than an entertaining domestic scrap where both fighters are trying to land the big punches?
I know where my channel would be switched to if that was the choice I was faced with.
Re: friday fight nights back...
Renda-Samuels rematch? Only just spotted that, nice one Rhun.
I've backed Dolan to win this. He had never been past six rounds last time, is much fresher and knows he can hurt Norton.

yes, over two pug faces and Mayweather isn't Johnny Nelson!
This isn't the next Barrera/Morales 1

ill be honest with you, even tho norton dolan would probably be a better fight, id probably still watch mayweather if i had to choose
but they arent on at the same time so ill probably be able to watch them both
Re: friday fight nights back...

Not the same time, same day or same month in fact. So you probably can watch them both.

I dont care who's fighting i just need to see some boxing  its been so long, almost 2 weeks i think!
Re: friday fight nights back...
Come on guys, (apart from the first half of Norton-Dolan being a bit rubbish) surely everyone's happy that friday night fights is back in business. Second half of Norton-Dolan was fairly entertaining, and I thought a draw was fairly harsh on Dolan, as I thought he was hard done by last time as well.
But for pure entertainment, Renda-Samuels again was sensational! Renda's nose gets battered early on, leaving him bleeding for the eight rounds, and the pendulum of the fight swung back and forth, with Renda doing the work in the second half, but Samuels delivering the quality. From what was shown on Sky it seemed that Samuels deserved it, but bring on Renda-Samuels III!
