Not even sure what to say about this fight. I wonder if Manny can stop Clottey? No one ever has and everyone knows these African fighters are very hard to stop. Can Clottey keep up with Manny's work rate? Judging by Clottey's last performances, I say no.

I don't think it would be shocking if Clottey won. But I just can't see Clottey keeping up with Pac. Pac will be in and out before Clottey opens up. Sure a lot of punches will be blocked but Clottey waits for his turn to punch and that is exactly the wrong kind of fight you want to bring against Pac. And yes Africans are very durable but I think its reasonable to see Pac wearing Clottey down something like a DLH fight but probably late in the fight. I like the fight but Pac should win.

I became a fan of Pac after the destruction of Cotto, especially because I thought he would lose against ODH and Hatton. I wanted him to kick Floyds ass. Now I am not sure about him at all.
Floyd has to fight Shane, no excuses. I do not think wither fighter will fight Pac Man ever!
I wonder if the stadium will look like that, specially if Mayweather vs Mosley is signed for the same date.

I have never seen so little credit be given where credit is due. Except where Pacquiao and Mayweather are concerned. They are held to an impossible standard. Every single fight needs to be instrumental to their career or it means they are ducking this person or that person. People tend to forget that Mosley, Cotto, P. Williams, Margarito hadn't truly defined themselves as viable opponents before Mayweather retired. And that he didn't use his size advantage to beat Marquez, but he used his amazing skill and speed. Pacquiao has arguably had the hardest 10 fight schedule in the history of the sport, but he gets absolutely no credit for it.
Yeah Taeth, even before the fight fell through there was a good bit of that. Now it's just exacerbated by the bad taste that's left in everyone's mouth. Both guys are being held to extremely high standards, but it's their own doing!
It's going to be an interesting fight to say the least, Clottey is a very strong contender and in my opinion he can give anybody at 147 a run for their money.
They need to rename this fight. 'Who gives a fuck?' would be a lot more apt.
I seriously hope Clottey has learnt his lesson from the Cotto fight, if he steps right off the gas, he gives away a fight.

Not knocking clottey one bit as he is a very accomplished all round fighter. But we all know how this is going down and you`d be hard picked to find a single person who gives joshua a chance going on these performances.
Theres a whole host of names id rather of seen replacing floyd including bradley, malignaggi, marquez III, and if he really was intent on moving up to 154 and beating the likes of foreman, martinez and even if i dare say paul williams i would of been drawn to any of these.
But fighting a guy who just got beat by the guy you just beat - makes no sense whatsoever!!
