floyd left in the dust
floyd left in the dust after the failed pacquiao fight negotiations
- floyd rumored to fight matt hatton
- pac vs clottey got made for march 13
- floyd rumored to fight mosley
- floyd give up fighting on march 13
- pac vs clottey promotions on full swing
- floyd yet to finalize next fight
-
Re: floyd left in the dust
If Floyd fights anyone other then
Williams, Cotto, Mosley, Pacquiao, or a top WW contender ranked in the Ring top 5 he will embaress himself and show himself as someone looking for an easy fight....There would be no way to get around it....To hell with the Pacquiao fight BS....After all the talk and all the hoopla from Floyd he needs to either put up or shut up....
IF Floyd is fighting just for money....Well I have no problem with that but admit it...Be a man and admit it then fight every second class fighter willing to sign but do not continue to talk about your greatness because you look spectacular against second rate opposition

Floyd/Mosley fight is rumored to be taking place May 1st, and if it's made i'm pretty sure it's gonna out sell Pacquiao/Clottey, especially given it's not gonna have competition, so don't see how he's left in the dust seeing how he'll be getting more money :-X

Lets actually see Floyd sign against Mosley before patting his back.....You have a better chance of him asking for Steroid testing, DNA testing, a breathalizer, a gender test, Mosley to give him a peticure and use of his House for a party along with 99% of the purse before he actually signs on the line
-
Re: floyd left in the dust
While we wait till he signs with Mosley to pat him on the back, couldn't we wait till he doesn't sign with Mosley to say he's been left in the dust? Some of these threads are :shakehead: You guys are gonna turn me into a Floyd fan. ;D
-
Re: floyd left in the dust
yea it's getting ridiculous, didn't they make the sub thread for a reason? lol

Thats hilarious. Thats how I feel sometimes when I get on here. I find myself sticking up for Floyd all the time on here. And then I look back and wonder "How the hell did that happen? I'm not even big on Floyd." Mosley's my favorite fighter. I feel duped:( But Floyd does get bashed too much on here.
-
Re: floyd left in the dust
so Floyd gets "bashed" a lot on here eh, I wonder why LMAO

Pactard logic, my friend. Pactard logic.
Hey, let's call every fighter who didn't immediately have another fight lined up after negotiations with the first fighter fell thru, left in the dust. So Mike Tyson was left in the dust after Holyfield fell through the first time. Uh, Riddick Bowe was left in the dust for not fighting Lewis. Bernard Hopkins was left in the dust after the rematch with RJJ fell through the first time. David Haye was left in the dust after the matches with both Klitschkos didn't pan out.

floyd even had a headstart for a backup fight when matthew hatton revealed that floyd's camp called him 3 times already for a possible fight in england but floyd-hatton didn't materialized yet and so with floyd's rumored fight with paulie, campbell and mosley.
pac rumored to fight foreman and paulie and eventually signed with clottey.
as of now, floyd still lost in the dust of the failed floyd-pac negotiations

i already called it in the post you quoted that floyd-mosley is rumored to happen. if it does happen then well and good. in that situation floyd will be left in the dust if mosley defeats him which is very possible outcome

whatever you say Xadu, and it'd only be a possible outcome because Mosley is a better opponent than Clottey ;) you need to stop sucking on the Pacjuice, haven't you heard it's contaminated hahaha

Re: floyd left in the dust
I'm sure that the Mayweather-Mosley fight will be signed. They are both under GBP & Shane seems to be agreeable to any demand that Floyd will make. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't be?

I think I hear crickets chirping in the distance after that one.

Re: floyd left in the dust
Floyd left in the dust? Not sure about that. IF he fights Mosley and wins...it will look much better than Pac winning over Clottey. Not to mention...most people will watch Floyd vs. Mosley....just WAY more of a marquee fight than Pac vs. Clottey. As much of a jerk as Floyd can be...at least he doesn't come out of all this looking suspicious for using PEDs.

Re: floyd left in the dust
Of course, you could always look at it that Pacquiao knew some time ago that he would not be fighting Floyd for fear of being exposed as a drugs cheat and had more time to set up an altrernative opponent who wouldn't require him to prove he was clean for the fight.
Remember, it was Paquiao that ran away from Floyd, not the other way round and all over a little blood test.
*battens down the hatches to repel attacks from Pactards"
For what its worth I think that you man is definitely hiding something and in my eyes his legacy is shot to hell.
-
Re: floyd left in the dust
I've also heard from two pretty good sources that the Mayweather Mosley fight will be on May 1st so I wouldn't say floyd has been left in the dust really. I just wish Mosley was a few years younger man....

it is floyd who has more rumored opponents (matt hatton, paulie, campbell, mosley) but can't just finalize a fight as of now. in fact, team floyd contacted matthew hatton even before and during the pacquiao fight negotiations. unless floyd finalize and sign a fight, i still say he's left in the dust as of now.

Don't you think Matthew might have said that to raise his profile so he gets a better offer for a different fight. "Hey world, Floyd wantsto ight me, I must be worth more than what you think." Alotof fighters have been rumoured to be fighting Floyd. Not neof Floyd's people have come out and said "Floyd is interested in this fight". The only names GBP have mentioned are Cintron and Mosley. I'm not a Flod fan, but if he fights Mosley, then Pacquiao is the one who is left in the dust here. Floyd will make a boat load more money and gain alot more respect if he wins than Pac will.

Seems quite clear to me that this guy is Xadu. He didn't ask "what is xadu?" or answer anything in Elterrible's reply. He just zeroed in on the Xadu part. You seriously feel the need to get your opinion across on a forum that banned you?

its possible mat hatton using floyds name to get attention but floyds camp didn't do any denial either so what mat hatton said could be true.
mosley is the only acceptable option left for floyd at this time. cintron already signed a fight vs paul williams and paulie signed to fight berto. floyd must nail this mosley fight or else he will be left in the dust for a longer time.

xadu is the only thing i didn't understand in that post. mosley better than clottey no argument there. regarding pacjuice and contaminated, im not interested to talk about those things

Re: floyd left in the dust
Hmm. Clottey or Mosley?
I think Floyd has progressed surprisingly by being willing to fight Mosley. It certainly dwarfs Pacs fight with Clottey now. And Mosley was willing to undergo all the tests too. He might have screwed up in the past but at least he's willing to let himself be used as a shining example late on in his career.
Pac ran away with his tail between his legs and with bogus lawsuits ringing in his ears. :chick07mj8:

I unfortunately have to say that Floyd grew some balls in the meantime. As much as Clottey-Pac is interesting, Floyd-Moseley is a lot more appealing to me now.

I just dont see the interest in clottey-pac
pacquiao has proven already against 4 far superior fighters to clottey that he is world class. Why this fight is going down ive no idea
Floyd-mosley however bring it on. It will probably be much more of a tactical exchange than anything else but at least it`ll be fun to watch and the winner will have to be considered p4p #1

Re: floyd left in the dust
Far more better Floyd vs. Shane than Pac vs. Clotey
still its only Shane signed and sealed to it according to Yahoo Sports.
Contract signed: Mosley-Mayweather set for May 1 - Boxing - Yahoo! Sports
the details within this week for the press conference. hope to see it done. good for the boxing fans.

If there is a fight that is worthy in the months to come, that's this one. You know how much I hate FLoyd and rip him whenever a decent opportunity arise but this time... I just can't. It is a risky fight against a much bigger and stronger opponent with tons of speed, this time Floyd deserves credit and if he wins, he'll have a damn good leverage to re-negociate his deal with PAcman.
