Get ready for another brilliant performance. Green is a gateway type fighter, in my mind, and Ward will show off his pedigree. I just hope Ward and Dirrell wind up fighting.
So Green is going to enter the tourny with no points then? Interesting. Ward should completely outclass him, but with Green's power and the lingering doubt about Ward's chin it should be an interesting fight.
Ward should get McDonald's to sponsor him and have two Big Mac's painted on his gloves so Green can eat one each time he gets punched in the face.
I hate that Green is going into this tournament. Hopefully Ward will put Green on all fours like Miranda did. I wouldn't mind seeing another funny pic where it looks like Green is getting personal. :blow:

Is Green really that fast though Amat? I don't know if he's any faster than Kessler. Maybe I'm going nuts. Kessler has looked pretty fast at times, Green is fast but not elite fast.
Yeah actually I don'tknow what I'm talking about. I guess I just never expected this fight to happen, it's just that Green has some pop in his punches but no I don't think he's fast either. Definitely not on the feet, um I guess it's just the pop really I've always been of the opinion that Green is overrated.

I'm soarely dissapointed about this. Adding Green, or even Bika to the Super Six now gives the tournament a certain taint of Not So Super Six......

He probably does enter this as the weakest of the 6 fighters but there isnt a hell of a lot of other options for fighters to replace taylor other than bute

Maybe not a massacre but it will definitely be one side. In fact I don’t see anybody, except Dirrell, giving any problems to Ward.
I would have preferred Bika in though, at least he has more endurance.
Well, the tournment will be a bit tainted because now you have a fresh fighter entering. And Green is formidable enough to be a replacement. Green will not be blown out the water in this fight but Ward should win this one by decision. I hope he KOs Green because Green is quite cocky for not having accomplished anything. The main thing is that its great that Taylor bowed out and will be safe. Hopefully he retires. One fight I'd like to see is Green/Froch. That would be entertaining. Any complaints about the tourney is just splitting hairs. We have a 6 man tourney in the deepest division in boxing. The only guy worthy who is missing is Bute. I have no complaints. At least we got us a tourney to sort out this division. Were guaranteed good fights at 168. Us fight fans would never dream of this gift.
It's a shame that Bika/Green couldn't be made, that would have been a great fight. However, can't see anyone better than Green entering the tournament reason being is they would be down one fight to make points, if you were handling Bute would you put him in when he could only make a max of 6 points?
Why didn't Bika sign the contract? Everyone is underestimating Green in his upcoming fight with Ward.
Ward should have more difficulty setting the pace with Green and that was Ward's advantage over Kessler and Miranda. Green won't be bullied by Ward in the same way. Ward should be favored, but Green has the tools to pull off an upset. I want to see if Ward can handle Green's power.
