What Happens if Mayweather and Pacquiao Loses?
I'm not saying it will happen, but Clottey and Mosley aren't sure things and in the boxing business strange things have happened.
So what would it mean for boxing then? How would the boxing landscape shape out? And would Mayweather-Pacquiao lose some of it's luster after the defeats?
Discuss.

hope they do fucking primadonna's
Re: What Happens if Mayweather and Pacquiao Loses?
Yeah, I would love to see both of them lose at this point as well, although neither is anywhere near likely imo... If Manny loses and Mayweather wins, it pretty well just cements Mayweather being the top guy, I don't think anyone would be clamoring for him to fight Clottey after beating Shane, nor would there be much substance in the idea that Manny would've stood a great chance to beat him, not that it neccesarily diminishes what his chances would've been.. If Mosley upsets Mayweather and Pacquiao wins, then you still have a total mega fight which shouldn't be all that difficult to make. Somehow I doubt either guy would insist of random blood testing in the case of Pacman vs Shane;). From a financial standpoint Pacquiao losing would be the real disaster, because Clottey just isn't ever going to be a big draw, I wouldn't be all that stoked to see him fight Floyd or Shane even if he did manage to beat Manny.
Re: What Happens if Mayweather and Pacquiao Loses?
They won't lose.
Neither would take the fight if they had a real chance of losing, especially PBF.

PBF could very much lose against Moseley actually, Pac too against Clottey but it is more unlikely.
Back on topic: if it happens, it'll be the biggest hype of the last 15 years going first class to the drain, with both of them regretting the 40 millions payday they lost and will never have again.
Re: What Happens if Mayweather and Pacquiao Loses?
Its an interesting scenario. I think Clottey could be all wrong for Pacman and could pull off an upset. I don't think PBF will lose to Mosley because I think father time will have finally caught upto him in this 1. I believe the real winner in all of this could be Andre Berto.

Mayweather's the one taking on the tougher opponent and the man at 147, while Pacquiao is gonna fight Clottey who's last outing was a loss to the guy Pacquiao just beat, hmmmm who's taking the bigger risk?!?:-X

It's not gonna happen. The only boxer who who can seriously threaten Mayweather is Manny and the boxer who can seriously threaten Manny is Mayweather. Clottey has not got a hope in hell of beating Manny. Same to with Mosley. I think the Margarito victory has made people think Mosley is better than what he is. Mayweather will cruise to domintant UD and Manny will give a sytematic beating to Clottey.

Clottey stepped into the ring against Zab Judah weighing 170lbs. Pacquiao is giving up no less than 15lbs and possibly 20lbs to Clottey. That is not a light risk! Had Clottey stepped up his game just a little he could have won that fight with Cotto.
Pacquiao taking on Clottey automatically makes everyone a critic when it comes to Mayweather's next opponent. It will not sit well with fans if he doesn't take on a challenge. My guess is he sits out fighting Mosley with some BS reason and waits for Pacquiao to come back to the table. The only problem there which no one seems to be contemplating is that Mosley might be so agitated that he takes the deal from Mayweather, even though he's a GBP man, and fights Pacquiao if he wins.

The main board will be baron and become over run with Kid thunder threads....the oceans current will shift....wrist watches world wide will began running in reverse and domestic animals will revolt.....oh and we may be forced to speak of other fighters ;D
I really do think Clottey has an excellent chance of spoiling Mannys run.
Re: What Happens if Mayweather and Pacquiao Loses?
If for some miracle Pac ain't on steroids than Clottey will win
