Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Can you recall any fight where it was clear how one of them, or both, was scared/intimidated in the ring? Shaking/trembling, being extremely cautions, clinching all the time, etc.
One that comes to mind is Renaldo Snipes vs Jorge Luis Gonzalez. Renaldo looked scared all the time. Even when Jorge Luis flinched a little Renaldo would block himself all scared and wouldn't even get close to Jorge Luis. One thing is to be cautious and another one is to be so scared you don't even want to get near the opponent.
Anybody else? :)

Andre Dirrell looked like he was scared of Carl Froch, even though he beat him.

Oh yeah! Dirrell started to fight a bit more on the later rounds but the desicion went Froch's way.

It was probably the most optimistic point of the night for him. His only hope was having Tyson break both his hands.

I know, huh? Maybe the only damage Tyson received that night was not from Spinks but from the wall.
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Derrick Gainer/JMM, I don't see how you can explain Gainer's actions in that fight if you argue that he wasn't just petrified.
Hopkins/Hakkar.
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Steve Molitor was clearly terrified of Celestino Caballero.

Jerry Hackney against the butcher.............

The Noriega guy that fought Rigondeaux had no desire to be in the ring.
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Marquez vs Gainer
At first I thought Gainer was just defensive but after the first round It seemed to me he was scared.
Tyson vs Bruno
No wonder Bruno kept clinching and clinching all the time. He almost got disqualified for it.
Jerry Hackney vs The Butcher
What the hell was that? :D
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
if bruno had have thrown his punches as fast and as often as he blessed himself going into the ring in the second fight, he would have battered tyson
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Eubank was freaked out by Steve Clloins, who convinced him he was fighting hypnotized, could not feel pain and saw Eubank's head as twice the normal target size ;D
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Seldon vs Tyson
I think Wenton looked like a scared kid vs Barrera. I think he was looking for the 1st decent punch to land so he had an excuse to go down. Apparently he requested reyes punchers gloves pre fight but his trainer interviened and said " no we dont want punchers gloves against Barrera" Nothing like a little confidence demoraliser from your trainer prefight to seal your fate.
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
There was a recent-ish Herbie Hide fight in Germany where he didn't even land a punch but scored a TKO!
The guy was so scared he just went down every time Herbie got near :-X
Speaking of Herbie...Just got another one - Herbie Hide was scared against Bowe ;D
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
Akinwande was petrified of getting hurt against Lewis.
Re: Being scared/intimidated inside the ring
I think Vernon Forrest fought scared against Mayorga in their second fight.

IMO Ricky Hatton looked nervous and didn't seem right going into the ring against Pacquaio
