Well that was a good round for the Brit, Garcia seems really cautious to commit to anything of his own while Theophane is moving around on the outside there. He needs to get the jab going and his combination punching can beat Theophane.

Teddy Atlas is pretty on point with his commentary here and was just what I thought. When you shut down behind your lead punches then all a guy has to do is get you to reach or miss once and then he knows you take time to reset. Garcia putting more behind the jab in terms of punches and getting better results, you can see that he's much stronger then the Brit.
Garcia's counters are starting to work, but he's still getting tagged.
Theophane just isn't much of a puncher, which helps, Garcia gets hit pretty often.

I actually think that was a pretty good step up that you don't see all the time, Theophane wasn't great but he wasn't bad and yet you could still put your guy in there with him cause he wasn't a big puncher.
That all sounds good but Garcia needs a ton of work.
This should be a very violent fight, looking forward to it.

Hell of a round, looks like Roman's body work is having the biggest impact so far.
Escalante's got too much nervous energy. He's been hurt in each round now.
I'll be absolutely shocked if this goes past 6 rounds.

This is a tough one to score, Escalante is clearly landing more shots, but the ones the Roman lands look so much more impactful.

This is a great fight, Escalante is showing some serious heart, he's getting decimated to the body, but still going for the KO.

I have still never seen that Oliveira-Augustus fight I don't think but it seems like I have.
Augustus-Ward was such a good fight. I get why people could be annoyed by Augustus but there was no BS that fight, just a great war.
Roman looks hurt a little now, but Escalante looking like his adrenalin is wearing off.
