Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
It's on Fightnews now but mentions nothing of Audley Harrison!! Does anyone know who Audley will be fighting next now??
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
so if ever Haye wins against Ruiz, there is no chances (or almost) that the winner takes Valuev? great news!
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
I'm concerned that Audley might slip into his bad old habits and get a token "contender" from Latvia in to "challenge" him for the European title. There's plenty of decent European opponents out there who would be willing to step in, but I can't see him picking anyone that he's not sure he can beat.
Good for Albert though, a $1 million payday will keep the wolves from the door.

Audley Harrison looking for opponent as Sosnowski challenges Vitali Klitschko | news.boxrec.com
Hopefully Harrison-vs-Dimitrenko will get made.

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
The mind boggles and the heavyweight division sinks deeper..... Now an Audley Harrison opponent become all good for a Klitschko. Just when you thought the Klitschko sisters couldn't get any worse.....

B*tch all you want, Vitali TRIED to get Valuev which really aside from the WBA title holder is the only meaningful fight Vitali has right now. I also think Vitali tried to get Odlainer Solis as well.
Harrison could very well beat Dimitrenko, he's big but doesn't fight that way, he's not strong, and he's not fast, and he doesn't have huge power. At one time I thought he was a "project" but right now I think he just doesn't have the goods

Valuev? Your sh*tt*n me right?
Not b*tchin, just tellin it like it is. Its a sad sad state of affairs when a once proud and high flying division is completely on it's knees..... You may have posted 26,545 times, but not one bit of your experience can sell this fight any other way than a complete shambles for boxing. I think we should just draw a curtain in front of the heavyweight boxing division and maybe in a couple of years time pull it back to see if its sorted itself out into a good and solid top 10 fighters or atleast top 6...... I have everything crossed for it, but I just don't see it atall, maybe Mike Perez can come to the rescue......

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Sosnowski-Audley was half-interesting.
Vitali could beat him with one hand (well actually he'd quit). Crap fight.

But at the same time, Solis and Valuev being un-available, who remains so step up? Not that many peoples. In the circumstances, this is a correct fight.

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Could vitali have picked a worse opponent? A guy that Zuri Lawrence owns a victory over.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
What about:
Alexander Povetkin
Tony Thompson
Alexander Dimitrenko
Denis Boytsov
Or even Evander Holyfiled, who has not fought since he shut out Valuev.

100% agreed
Complete joke fight, ive seen the klitschkos take bump fights before but this goes way beyond bump. This guy actually got taken to school by a completely shot danny williams for a fair few rounds and williams domestically has trouble standing up nowadays let alone fighting.
I was even surprised audley harrison decided to take this fight but vitali klitschko taking it.................................:o:o:o
Someone please tell me this is some elaborate joke orchastrated to build up harrison-sagnowski........

It would take more than this to build up any Audley fight. I put him in the same category of self delusion as Charlie 'Z Money' Zelenoff ;D

The mind genuinely boggles doesn't it. No wonder that the Klits are now relegated to fighting on the internet and have been banished by HBO. Total joke, nothing less....

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
ahahahaha, Vitali's ducking Yuri Lawrence. Fact.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Jesus Christ people you act as if Vitali made the fight himself.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Vic Darchinyan said he would fight Vitali, Vitali is ducking Vic FACT!!!
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Whoa ;D I mean WHOA!
Sosnowski was the guy who Zuri Lawrence almost got his 1st career KO against :D
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Shit fight but what about Audley and Valuev? Now they have both been dumped maybe they could fight each other?
Sure it would probably be the most boring fight of all time, but on the bright sight one of them would have to lose.

Nothing correct about a mismatch.
Vitali would be a 1/10 shot if wearing a blindfold.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
This is a correct fight Nameless? I'm sorry but even in a sorry division, have you ever seen him fight? I understand that in Poland because he's a commentator there or whatever so he's popular, but he's not a top 20 fighter in the division. He was flatly outboxed against Zuri Lawrence, ZURI LAWRENCE!
I've softened my intense anti-Klitschko stance that I'm actually more on the pro-Klitschko these days, but this is LAUGHABLE. I'd honestly rather see a Sam Peter rematch. That's not a joke, ok maybe it is. Tony Thompson, Chazz Witherspoon, David Tua, Manuel Quezada (lol), some top 10 cruiserweight, Audley Harrison (I actually wish this happened) are better fights then this poor man's Oleg Maskaev. I mean fair play to Sosnowski, but he stands not a chance here and could be the worst heavyweight title challenge in a while and that's saying something!

Mid-as-well be fighting fat albert for all this fight matters

Sosnowski isn't great but short notice maybe he's the best option. I guess this fight will be in Germany, if so it should sell well. I am not overly impressed by this choice so don't get me wrong, but sources said Vitali tried to get Valuev AND Solis and he was apparently left with no other option. I think even a faded Oleg Maskaev makes more sense than this fight.

I am sure Povetkin can dump Mora like he dumped Quinn last week or like Sosnowski just dumped Audley, for a chance at a title.
And so what if Dimitrenko and Boystov have the same trainer, do they have no plans to ever fight for the heavyweight title.
The problem with Valuev and Solis is that they know they are not going to win, and that they are simply cashing out. That is why they need to get paid well. If they had confidence in their own abilities then they would take the fight on short money, knowing that a victory will make them much more money on their next fight.

Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
Wow.This is simply pathetic pairing for a dominant heavyweight champion. And I'm a fan.Albert has 45 wins...half of which come against guys with losing records. His biggest name scalp Stateside is a 40 yr old Orlin Norris,in a SIX rounder from what I can tell.He was not only beaten by ....pause...pause....Zuri "I couldn't hurt your feelings let alone dent your chin" Lawrence...he was dominated, out boxed, out fought and out on his feet for a moment. The fans should be payed to sit through this public sparring session but only after being given many free pints of a beverage of choice.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
I think that there should actually be some sort of petition put together with regards to forcing this fight off. This just shouldn't be accepted by anybody involved in boxing aside from Albert Sosnowski himself.
-
Re: Vitali Klitschko vs Albert Sosnowski
lol thank you Spicoli. Again, repeat that, ALMOST STOPPED BY ZURI LAWRENCE! Maybe not but even Atlas and Tessitore were saying this could be his first stoppage win. This guy is fighting Klitschko, go back to that Lawrence fight and tell me that's possible or in any way 'fair.' Sorry Lyle and Nameless but this is calling it like it is here, this is a waste of time.

Povetkin is preparing for a fight with Wladimir and he looks like he's focused on ONLY that probably because Teddy Atlas think he's the "vulnerable one"
With Dimitrenko and Boytsov I was merely pointing out you don't see "stablemates" fight each other that often. I do think Boytsov may have switched trainers recently as Sdunek is cutting down on how many fighters he trains and that's a shame because Boytsov is a solid fighter.
I'm not trying to say this is a great fight because it simply isn't, I'm just trying to explain why Vitali had very few options right now. Honestly if he wasn't under suspension I would have LOVED to see Vitali take on Shannon Briggs, because at least Shannon would be "entertaining". Fighting Sosnowski is a waste of time, I agree, but hell who else is out there that is a viable fight?

I know that he is jumping into the mma world but hasn't James Toney been calling out both the brothers? It would have been a lot better then watching this guy Vitali has chosen next.

Well that's how difficult the situation is, there ARE a lot of heavyweight Vitali could fight but very few have earned anything close to a title shot.
.....also this fight being made makes you miss guys like Joe Mesi
