Calzaghe sounds like he is missing the limelight.
There is nothing more annoying than a deluded coke head, but to be fair Calzaghe's comments about the other fighters are not particularly nasty and probably have a fair bit of credence. Hamed is obese. Khan has a glass jaw. Hatton doesn't take a punch too well these days. These are the kind of views many of us have and I'm sure many of us have snorted a line of coke too. Mind you, that is the kind of thing you usually grow out of at university, but I suppose Calzaghe has never had that freedom having been fighting and training for so many years. He's bound to go off the rails a bit now the day job is over, but hopefully he will realise the pointlessness and decide to get a hobby of some sort.
Amazing how this makes headline news. He's just a geezer that likes a bit of chang! It's barely more shocking than saying he likes a beer - Coke is rife in every city and every club in the country - each to their own

He is adjusting to retirement , whoch will take time, and who can blame him for enjoying himself after all these years. For years he's kept himself focussed and in shape let him get on with it.

He is a retired guy who does a bit of sniff, jesus, lets hang him! He was mostly spot on with what he said about the other fighters to.
Who gives a fuck?? I think some of the shit he says about other fighters is out of order when you consider it's a guy he just met & I've heard all of those guys mentioned as 'friends' by him. But, I really couldn't give a shit, it's his life.
As for anyone who tries to say this has tainted his legacy, they're talking shit. His legacy is just as piss-poor now as it was before ;D
To be fair to Pugilistic, this wasn't his original thread title. There was another thread that got merged and it looks like its title replaced Pugilistic's. I've changed it to something similar to the original title - if anyone has a problem with that feel free to let me know.
Im quite suprised people are letting Joe Calzaghe off so lightly, he stated one of his family members supplies drugs to him unless i read that wrong, doesn't that sound suspicious to anyone else ?

Joe really has let himself go after retiring from boxing, not in the way Hatton has with his condition but women, drink and drugs. Hopefully he will grow out of it and it is just a phase after having to train all those years and dad on his case. :p
