What a KO, beat Sprott with one hand, never any doubt ;D
That's most definitely the KO of the year so far for me... absolutely brutal!
I'm actually really happy for Audley, you've got to give credit to a guy who produces a shot like that
I cant wait for the interview where he says he had it all under control ;D
He was fighting with 1 hand but I never saw that punch coming. Neither did Sprott. One of the best KOs this year.
he is the strangest fighter, that power in the last shot was up there with haye, yet the 11 rounds before i thought paulie might have beat him in a shoot out
Jesus great ko but Audley is awful I would back Fury/Mcdermott/Chisora all to beat him comfortably.
Basically he stank the joint out Ice, it was embarrassing to watch, then in the last round Sprott went in for the kill, it looked like Harrison was being stopped......and then BANG one punch and Sprott was dead.
He didn't throw the right hand AT ALL though, not once after the first round, very weird. He said his shoulder went.
To be fair he wasn't lying, he fought like Jeff Lacy against Tyspko, in one round he threw a 10 punch combo all with one hand.
II'm glad for him, hope he can go on,
Yeah I actually believe his excuse for bad performance this time. He clearly was hurt cuz he didnt throw any right hads from the 4th onwards and still won by devastating KO so fair play I say.
He showed heart like Danny coming from behind against Potter with 1 arm but Danny was cheered like a hero but Audley was booed even when he won. Shame really. Maybe he would be better with 2 arms. . . ofcourse he would but I dont think he wins his next fight. Atleast he became European champ. Sprot must be gutted he went for it in round 12. His corner said to come firing back at Audley and it cost him the fight.
I'm really pleased for him, he never gave up and never complained once during the fight.
You can't say that he doesn't have heart now.
I'm not sure that the A-Train is going to go anywhere but I'm hopping the empty front seat next to the driver to ride it out to the end regardless.
Good job Audley, David Haye has never KO'd a guy like that.....
Audley's still a terrible pro!
A man of his stature should be pushing out that jab every two seconds!
He was lazy and looked scared.
If Sprott had listened to his corner he would have won. He went out early in the twelve looking to take it to Harrison. Should have tucked-up and countered.
Audley won with one lucky late punch.
Sprott's corner said,
"He's gonna have a little pop at you, tuck up and come right back"
Sprott went straight out for a KO and he was well ahead on points.
Would be the best thing if Audley was retired. He's a nice guy but he's missing somehing. He has the stature but no ram-rod jab.
Great ko. I'm surprised sprott got up at all after that. Audley still sucks ass tho
Which is what he was actually doing when he got caught. He started fast, but when he was actually stopped, he'd started doing what they say. In fact when got flattened he was doing exactly what they said. I agree his jab was frighteningly shoddy there, but his shoulder injury might explain that.
Fukk Audley, he's a bum and always will be. Trailing 4,5 and 6 rounds on each of the scorecards and lands an unjustice left hook to knock Sprott out with 2 minutes left. What a fukking joke, feel sorry for Sprott and now we have to put up with more deluded words from Harrison after getting dominated for 12 rounds. He's so negative Harrison its untrue, got countered all night from right hands.
He won a vacant title because the previous owner somehow got a shot against Vitali. Regardless of the opposition, winning with a KO like that & with one hand is impressive. Sprott is no fraud. Anyone who gets in the ring deserves respect, particularly to keep coming back after being stopped.
Sprott is garbage to be honest, of course he deserves respect for getting in a boxing ring, any fighter does, but that doesn't make them good. Look at his past few fights, he's lost to some bums.
And the KO was decent, but it tells a different story of the fight. You cant ignore the previous 11 rounds were he got outboxed in every way, shape and form. Fact is when Fraudly steps up he's getting beat. I mean come on, people forget not so long ago an Irish taxi driver beat him. He scored a late KO win against a mediocre opponent after getting battered all night long, even Derek Chisora would smash Fraudly IMO.
When you win a European title with a devastating Ko against a guy who had previously knocked you out leme know yeah?
Ofcourse its a decent achievement. His shoulder had gone he wasnt using his right hand at all. The ref was against him, the crowd was against him, he was behind on the cards and yet he pulled it out when he needed to . What more do you want. You just cant give credit to the guy. Its not as if he is a rapist of something. Yet he is despised like no boxer Ive ever known. He is a athlete who is trying to make a living and has to put up with abuse everytime he fights and everytime he is mentioned in the papers. I dont envy him abit of success. Good on him. He was honest in the interview after and admitted he was behind. I loved it when he goaded the crowd after he landed that punch.
Congrats Audley !!!
Next stop . . . Greatness!!! ;)

Its not a decent achievement when you got absoloutely outboxed all night long. Remember who Michael Sprott is as well, a borderline journeyman. Fraduly done what was expected in there, win by KO. Another 2 minutes and he would have his gloves safely hung up. Dont matter though. It will happen sooner rather than later.
I think Audley has so much talent and can bang just a shame he is so frustrating, il give him a pass tonight because it was clear he was injured but I still cant see him doing anything at all, call me daft but if Haye cant get the Klits in the ring is there a bigger money fight than fighting Audley out there??
More than likely do great PPV numbers at sky and will probably get the casual fan interested the media could build it saying Audley is back with his devestating ko they can just bypass the previous 11 rounds when reporting on it, i seriously could see this fight happening.
A win is a win. Let's not forget Froch and many others are champions from a 12th round knockout. That's the great thing about boxing. I actually thought he was going to topple in that round and then from no where!
Was a great shot. At first I, like most other people thought it was simply an undeserved lucky win. Then I thought more and now I think fuck it, he won the fight with one hand, Sprott looked solid, avenging a knockout mentaly is tough and he does want to do well. I hope he gets a Klitscho and I'll even cheer him on! (although i'm not deluded enough to think he might actually win!)
He annoys me, but his career facinates me!
Imagine Audley vs Valuev, would be the least punches thrown ever and a real insomnia cure.
Couldn't believe my eyes with that punch, lucky git!
Yeah I can actually see Haye vs Audley happening now and I give Audley a punchers chance which I didnt before tonight

When the punch landed Ian shouted " oh what a fight. what a punch "
Seconds before the punch landed Audley was rocked by a left hook and an uppercut and they were saying Audley might not see the round out then all of a sudden he just turned Sprott onto the ropes and put him to sleep with 1 shot. Best KO of the year
The fight actually reminded me of Derry Mathews v Martin Lindsay.
Got to say well done to Audley. I definately believe him about his shoulder so it was a decent performance really for a one armed man. And what a spectacular KO! That will be a contender for most spectacular KO of the year. I like Audley and he does have heart (in some ways) but tonight will represent the peak of his career. I feel bad for Sprott mind but thats because I'm just a softy. :gay5:
PS Them one armed combos he threw twice were pretty good. Thats damn hard to do.
PPS I can't believe I almost sound like an Audley fan in this post.
I'm with you there pal. I was really pleased for Audley tonight, there's something endearing about a guy who never gives up, has a certain amount of destructive talent but is ignorant to his weaknesses. He's like a baby who keeps crawling to the plug socket despite being pulled away dozens of times - he could easily get sparked out but sometimes gets away with it!
I think some of us should cut him some slack, he talks a good fight which is funny when you know how bad he can be. He showed real heart tonight, I could see early on he'd picked up an injury and that was why he wasn't throwing the right.
Obviously my first hope for this year is that Pacman Vs Mayweather finally happens however I'd gladly bite your hand off for this scenario - Haye to struggle to land a fight with the Klits so offers a shot to the new European champ. Dust up at the O2. Loads of media attention - even Wills and Harry tag along for a front seat view. Audley goes down 3 times struggling to get past Haye's big bombs. Finally crawls off the canvas Balboa style and throws a drunken left hook luckily connecting with Haye's already suspect chin. Audley Harrison, champion of the world. He flaming well told you didn't he?
That would be delicious.
Rounds 1 & 3, Audley boxes well, lands some decent shots and has Sprott in trouble, without the shoulder injury I ave to admit, much to my annoyance, that Audley would have taken out Sprott much earlier. Sprott however, took advantage of the situation and put in the workrate which was two minutes away from making him European champion.
Earlier on today, I mocked VD for picking Audley by KO in the prediction contest, I had Sprott by KO, and 30 or so seconds into the last rounds, Audley was on the ropes shipping punches and I was getting the faintest feeling of smugness.
Fair play to him, he's been drinking in the last chance saloon so often it's a surprise he has a functioning liver, but he found that punch from somewhere, and if he gets a shot at Dimitrenko.... (I think he'll get mullered) all the best to him.
From what I;m reading dude Audley only had one arm, he only had his left arm because his right arm was gone and reading through here he apparently threw combinations with that arm only. Are you really gonna bash on Audley for getting outboxed when he only had one arm and completely disregard the fact he had a come from behind win with one arm in the last round in dramatic style digging down deep and showing that he DOES have heart? If you are gonna just brush that aside you're just hating.
He won a European title with one arm, cut him slack man, he fought 11 rounds with no right arm at all. Danny Williams win over Mark Potter is part of British boxing legend and I think that fight went about 6 rounds, Harrison fought a full fight one handed and Sprott, despite his losses is a class above Potter, plus had sparked Audley before.
He never gave up, never complained, and got the ko in the dying moments. If it was any other fighter he'd be getting credit.
I agree Dimitrenko beats him but this is Audleys night and probably the best night he'll ever have.I think stylistically Audley has a better chance against Haye of landing another lucky punch. That two fights in a row where Audley has laid an opponent clean out with 1 shot. He's getting a rep like Abraham at his level. I thought he was doing an "Abraham" On Sprot in the middle rounds - soaking up , letting the other guy punch himself out but it soon became clear that his right hand had gone.
Good Old Jim Watt disgraced himself again. Seconds before the Ko he said it was great tactics from Sprott to go at Audley
I just rewatched the last round cuz it was so good and the crowd reaction was crazy. Everyones faces were in shock and looking at each other in disbelief. He's defo left us with a memory. Finally Audley has done something pretty amazing so whatever happens from here on in he has had his moment. It wasnt a normal Friday fight night, that was a one off.
I have to be honest and not all of sudden flip flop like is way too common these days and say mostly i have just considered audley a pretty big joke but you know what big big congrats on this win. I didn't see it but the way it's being written about the big guy finally showed some ooooohhhmmfffff. Guess it's time to start calling out floyd now. Wins like this usually draw that response. Forget all the shit talk audley (hell even this rant) for tonight and celebrate, can't wait to see the fight for myself.
Here's the KO & replay

That was a cracker from Audley.
Fair play to him, won it one handed. The big fella couldn't have picked a better time to let his other nut drop at last, now we know he does have some balls after all !
Lets face facts , Sprott is a respected fighter who has fought tough fighters.
1. He is a moderate puncher at top international level 17 ko's wins , but he shook A-Farce every time he connected.
2. Sprott out worked Fraudley , and he is much smaller naturally.
A-Farce is delusional , he has no stamina , no heart , not the biggest puncher , he doesn't even look comfortable taking jabs let alone power shots. I really hope he gets a shot at either the brothers grim or Haye , so they can shut his mouth once and for all .
Finally there is always an excuse with Fraudly win or lose , i was flat tonight / my hand hurts / i wasn't focussed / i didn't have good sparring BLAH BLAH BLAH .
How about you are a fucking joke as an analogy ?
