What's your favourite fast food?
A trivial and silly thread to move away from that "Idiots in the military" nonsense! I think fast food is evil, but I have a weakness for it and I'm sure many of you do too. I love KFC chicken, but the one I am most vulnerable to is McDonalds because they do 24 hour delivery and I think their french fries are the best. I will eat fast food about once a week, which isn't good but could be worse.
So what's your fast food weakness?

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
McDonald's doing delivery in Korea is crazy, I don't really like it but if they delivered I'd probably have it once in a while.
I'd say Subway. Its not the best technically, a good cheeseburger is better tasting than a subway but its not that bad for you and I've gotten to the point where some of that stuff, KFC is the worst here for me, just makes me feel like shit after I eat it. Subway doesn't do that.
I like Checkers Burgers. I love this Jalapeno thickburger they have at Hardees (jalapenos should come on almost anything) but I haven't had it in a while.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
The only thing about Subway is I just wish I could go back there and make it myself. Where I used to live I had to stop telling them to put salt and pepper on cause they'd put this absurd amount of it on no matter what I told them. Now I always say more mayonnaise than mustard and they still put too much mustard on. Its a bit annoying. I like mustard but I don't want it seeping out of the sides of the sandwich.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
that reminds me of this woman who called 911 cause they didn't make her sub right. Absurd but I'm sympathetic.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
America probably has the best fast food. I watch Friday Night Fights and the adverts drive me mental. I just want to eat everything and it's so cheap too.
KFC boneless original, we don't get that here, but I want it!

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Apparently In and Out Burger's great but we don't have them here.
Now that I think about it the best fast food here is probably this great BBQ place. You don't usually think of that as fast food but they slow smoke all the ribs and pork shoulders and chicken in the morning cause it takes anywhere from 2-12 hours so its not like they cook it on order. So you just go in and order, you have your stuff in 2 minutes or so. No drive through but meh.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
I love the Burger King steakhouse burger, but minus any sauce as I don't really like that. Burger King burgers are much better than McDonalds ones, but IMO the Burger King fries really let them down. And they don't do delivery, so I only have that if I venture downtown which is quite rare.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
I ate MacDonalds for the first time in about 2 years the other day. I almost felt hungover at the gym the next day... I almost never eat fast food.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Burger King>McDonald's. Fact. So the fries aren't as good, the burgers are much better.
I've had more posts in this thread in 5 minutes than I have overall in the last week or so :-\ I think its cause I've been trying to eat real healthy lately and its boring as fuck.

That sounds fantastic. Ribs are great, but can be pretty expensive out here! It costs about 30 US dollars for a rack of ribs when eating out. More a luxury item than a fast food! I cook them at home sometimes if I have the time though and that works out a bit cheaper.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Ribs are kind of expensive here too. Not thirty bucks but a whole slab is I don't know, 15-20. In a grocery store you can get them cheaper. But you also can just get a rib dinner which isn't a whole slab, just 3-5 ribs and a couple of sides and its not that much.

3-5 ribs isn't much meat though, the whole rack seems better to a rampant carnivore such as myself! You have 3-5 and then you are wanting more, you don't really want to start munching on the veggies. Well, I don't, but I should.
We have a Popeyes here too which is alright, but their chicken is always kind of dry. The fries are a bit different though, more a cajun style thing. Not bad I guess.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Subway, Quiznos & Boston Market... I alternate between those 3 every week...
Every now and then I slack off and eat a burger or a taco or something from the following places..
In N' Out
Pick Up Stix
The Hat
Panda Express
King Taco
Salad Farm
There's other places I frequently go to but they are not chain restaraunts...
Meditarranean food (The Green Olive), Italian (La Villa Basque) and Japanese (Kyoto Sushi).
I've mentioned this before in other food threads but I hate Jack In The Box (I worked there and ate that food EVERY single fucken day for like 2 yrs)
I hate KFC, I've had 2 ugly experiences with food there (roaches, twice) NEVER again will I ever step foot at a KFC. EVER!!
I've only ate at Wendy's once and it was really good. However I've never gone back not sure why?
Not into Del Taco or Taco Bell, I mean if I come over your house to watch some fights and you have Taco Bell or Del Taco I'll eat some but I wont crave it or drive there on my own.
Rarely do I eat McD's I mean rarely I can't even remember when's the last time I ate it.
-
Re: What's your favourite fast food?
I hate KFC too. I got food poisoning from it when I was a kid. I spent all night at my grandparents house halucinating like I was on acid. I remember some of it vividly to this day.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?

Just out of curiosity I remember you stating in some thread that beef was really expensive in Korea, so are the burgers there even more expensive than western countries?
Anyways I would have to say Arbys does it for me especially their beef sandwiches.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Mine would have to be a poached Gull's egg on pan fried brioche with foie gras and bacon lardons , with a salsify salad.;D

Beef can be very expensive here, especially if you are buying Korean beef. 100 grammes of a good cut can set you back about 6 US dollars going on the current exchange rate. But you can buy cheaper than that if you buy american or australian beef. It can still be quite pricey though, I buy 3 kilos of american sirloin every two months which costs about 90 dollars but it's very good meat.
I'm not sure if burgers are more expensive than in other countries. I don't think so though. McDonalds uses australian beef here and a big mac set costs about 6 US dollars so I think its probably quite similar.
I'm quite liking the range of options Mick listed as well. You have a lot of variety over there which I envy a bit. The quick meal options are quite limited out here really.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
I had Panda Express today, a Panda Bowl which is 1 entree and 1 side for like $4, it's not bad. I always hear Panda Express is the most unhealthy but I noticed the Broccoli beef, which is all I get (the honey walnut shrimp looks good), is on the under 230 calorierealls per serving menu, which is nice.
Dickies BBQ is actually surprisingly good but it takes a bit long. Carls Jr. far and away has the best burgers. They have better burgers then a lot of restaurants, seriously They call Carl's Jr's Hardees in the East but I'm not sure the menus match up completely. I remember Hardees having breakfast which I don't think Carl's Jrs has a lot of.
Sonic I miss from being on the east coast except they just built a couple exits up the freeway.
McDonalds I have occasionally when I take the bus to school I stop at McDonalds and either get a mcchicken with ketchup only. Lately though I've got the snack wraps with ranch with grilled chicken.
Burger King, never. I just never go not since like freshman year of high school or the last time they had that italian chicken sandwich.
In N Out is the shit but not everyday. All they have is burgers and really only one or 2 types but they are great. It's the cleanest by far and the way they make the fries out of the potato in front of you is pretty cool.

Same, I had KFC last week for the first time in ages and I felt like I was going to be sick.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
KFC Chicken Zinger Tower :lickish:

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
Haven't ate at McDonald for almost 17 years, same with Burger King, Wendys must be 10 years now or something and KFC, over 20 years...and I plan to still go free of all of them for the next 20 years. Normally, when I want fast food, I go to "chez Henry" when I am in Joliette, my hometown in Canada as they make damn good burgers and the best poutine ever. While in Lux, I occasionally go for a kebab, there is 2 very reliable places where they are quite good in town and where I kind of trust the quality. Other than that, take away from vietnamese or chinese restaurants, we have some mighty decent ones here or as almost always, I cook my stuff myself:)

Burger King. Greggs corned beef pasties.

Re: What's your favourite fast food?
LOL
KFC Double Down Sandwich: No Bread, No Sandwich? |
that looks like just about the most heart attack inducing thing I've ever seen. Who needs bread?
540 calories? Really? That seems like about 2000 calories too low.
