Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Wladimir Klitschko calls out Haye for title fight - Boxing - Yahoo! Sports
here are some of the gems in the article
“I understand he’s scared, but just get yourself together, and maybe you’ll get a lucky punch or whatever,” Klitschko said over lunch at a Greek restaurant in the picturesque Larchmont Village section of Los Angeles.
“I think he’s frightened and he won’t be willing to take the chance, but it’s important for me to say that nothing is in the way. There are no other fights. There will be enough money for everybody. He just has to do what he says he will.”
so pretty obvious who's to blame if this fight doesn't take place

I'm pretty sure some people will blame Wlad again. If people can call Wlad a chicken and coward because Haye pulled out of the fight last year with an "injury," I'm pretty sure this article will be spin into something.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Im not a Haye fan... but... Haye pulled out of the fight because the TV channel broadcasting the fight was about to bankrupt and did a few days after he pulled out. He knew he was not going to get paid!
I don't think he's scared for a minute, but I'm pretty certain Wlad aint either.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
For such a nobody, Haye certainly ruffles a lot of (American) feathers on here.
-
Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Let's hope we get this on if there is no other options involved like last time I don't see how this can't be made.

oh no doubt, they'll start bitching about how Haye's dad should be the ref or some retarded BS like that

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
It's just a matter of time before Leftylee climbs to the barricade again to explain us how Haye is the next big thing and how the K are the one who did ran away from him though he did pull out of 2 bouts.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
I hope haye knocks his ass out
-
Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
If Wlad wants the fight so badly then maybe this time he should bend Haye over backwards just short of trying to fuck him during negotiations.
Come up with a half way decent deal this time and then maybe the fight won't collapse due to a small problem like a broadcaster... if you want to fight him so badly then be willing to share even some of the take with the man this time? ???
Kudos though... he seems to have at least watched Haye and tried to make an effort to generate a little bit of excitement... maybe he'll even start to show some guts in the ring against physically over matched opponents too?

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
i think its good for boxing if haye beats wlad!, cos he's more exciting
but its good for boxing if wlad beats haye! because haye is an annoying twat

Yeah, what the fuck is up with the WBA title holder and "injuries"? He threw his back out shadow boxing which ruined the 1st go-round with Wlad and apparently he had his excuses all lined up just in case he lost the Ruiz fight, he had a cut hand from sparring.....how the fuck do you fucking do that what is he sparring vs Edward Scissorhands???

What the fuck are you on about cut hand?? He had a cut on his right eye lid. Have you even seen the fight?? Really? You can clearly see it when he's doing his ringwalk. The Bullshit you will stoop to is geting ridiculous now Lyle. Accept that Haye is the man that the boxing world wants to see vs Wlad because he is the one people think has the best chance against him, that is no accident. Climb yourself out of that cave your in!

You can hope in one hand and shit in the other and see which one gets filled first! ;D
...I just got done watching the response of the WBA title holder's trainer to Wlad's call out. I am not impressed, there was so much double talk and excuses this fight may never happen....."We need Wlad and Vitali to sort out who the real champion is"....really? REALLY? I mean either take the fucking fight or get your boy to retire and stop talking shit!!!!

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
I'm loving the fact that Wladdy is proper laying it on Haye now (Go on son!). I'll be loving the banter when they come face to face next time ;D
Infact, I've got a sneaky Haye is plotting his next media stunt as we speak :scratchchin:
Although there is still the matter of a fair deal being struck up... None of this ''if you beat me you have to fight my big brother with your hand tied behind your back'' nonsense. 60/40 sounds fair to me.
Although someone mentioned that Booth was asking for 50% ???

....hand eye, whatever he got cut sparring which with today's equipment is still pretty odd.
I will admit watching your boy get the shit stomped out of him will be mighty entertaining. The next big question is whill he do a Prince Naz and just quit after sustaining a big ass whupping?

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
I don't think Haye will step into the ring with any of the Klit bros this year. Maybe a year from now. Haye still has to milk being HW "champion" for all it's worth before cashing out on a big fight fighting either brother.
I think his next opponent could be someone like Holyfield, Chambers, Valuev 2 or Adamek (win or lose in his fight with Arreola). Safe fights to cash in on another few millions.
You heard it here fellas. It could be conceivable that a Haye fight with either brothers doesn't happen for another 2 years.

That's actually not that big a deal.
If Arreola beats Ademek (which isn't totally inconceivable), then Haye could (and should) find himself with a possible 'Welcome to America' fight Arreola, who is still worth his money with HBO.
It's a way to raise your profile I guess.

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
if haye dont fight one of the K's next then he is all talk
-
Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Honestly this is the first heavyweight fight i been pumped up for...it actually has a story and entertainment value....i would love for it to be made

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Haye reminds me of Michael Grant before he fought Lennox Lewis....and I think he will find a similar fate..
-
Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
Well if he's as keen as he sounds, maybe he won't invoke a few rematch clauses and maybe, just maybe, he'll think about allowing Haye to take home a bit of the money from the gate receipts and the probable HBO ppv instead of restricting him to the money the fight makes in the UK...like last time.

and if Haye's as great as he claims, maybe he wont get back pains conveniently 2 weeks before the fight ;)
plus if Haye is as big in the UK as most guys are making him seem, the cut he gets from the UK buys should be enough $ for him to take the fight :-X

Define most guys? Are these the same guys who are all saying Haye would crush either Klit? I've still not seen these guys...
I don't think it's fair to hold it against him for not wanting to fight for free, which is essentially what he would have been doing given Setanta went bankrupt.

it's everyone on this forum that's saying that Haye is just as big of a draw in the UK as Wlad is in Germany, read through the callout vid thread and there are plenty on there making the claim and how it should be 50/50 since Haye is such a big draw in the UK

Surely you can agree that Haye is a big enough draw and a legitimate enough contender to earn at least something from the gate receipts and the HBO ppv?

question i ask, Haye was clearly co-promoting the fight against Wlad, cause in various pics you'd see Hayemaker Promotions written in the back, so if he's co-promoting the fight how the hell is he not making more than a dime?

Re: Wladimir Klitschko elaborates on call out...
I think the fight will happen next, Haye wants it and so does Wlad. Money will be sorted out.
