I've been meaning to watch the playoffs but I've been out of town and missed everything so far.
Vancouver's pretty much a lock to win it all. Who comes in second?

The Vancouver - L.A. series has been great so far, as has the Detroit - Phoenix. For whatever reason, all the match-ups are hotly contested this year. Every series could pretty much go either way.
If I'm being honest, I think San Jose or CHicago (most likely Chicago) will come out of the West. I don't think it will matter who comes out of the East, the Western COnference is that much better.

San Jose should be winning this series. Colorado is the worst team in the Western Conference playoffs. Nabakov has been awful, Thornton and Marleau have done their usual disappearing act, and Colorado has won two close games by having the bounces go their way. They're outplaying the Avs by a huge margin, but Anderson is standing on his head and Colorado is getting all the luck. If San Jose doesn't win this series and go deep in the playoffs, that team needs to be blown up.Quote:

To be fair, it looked like he played ok tonight. You can't really blame him for the last goal. He was godawful in Game 2 though, he almost single-handedly cost them that game.Quote:

This game is fucking brutal. The Canucks are one of the most bipolar teams in the league. They still have a chance to win, but my God that 2nd period was atrocious. The Sedins and Burrows have been fucking horrible tonight.

I'm a Canucks fan, this is normal for me. They are one of the losingest bunch of fucking losers in all of sports. The only thing that surprises me about them is the new and interesting ways they find to lose. For example, the Kings are 9/14 on the Powerplay, that is absolutely unheard of.Quote:

What an unreal third period. This team showed huge heart, especially after the 4th L.A. goal. We've got a series again and the Canucks were one of the best teams all year on home ice. They win both home games, they win the series.

Canucks down 1-0 late in the first. This could only mean CFH is currently experiencing anxiety and quite likely weener numbness.
But Ima rooting for them, the Nucks, cuz how else will I be able to see my already first round winning, Stanley Cup Champion defending Pens whup the daylights out of them later in the playoffs.

If they meet Chicago they're fucked. If they play Detroit or Phoenix they'll make it to the COnferense Finals. Chicago would beat them in 5 games IMO.
And Texas already has a hockey team, it's surprisingly well supported.
