Yeah he did alright he was under the world microscope too,a hard job.
I thought he could of let a couple of semi one armed clinches go as they were both at it in close at times and still landing shots with the free arms as he broke them,instead of yelling work your way out. But overall great.
ring girls also did a good job. kudos.

He gave a hard warning to Shane but really never did anything about Floyd's elbow....it's a shame really
I was annoyed that he let Floyd hold on to Mosleys arm when he was hurt. He wasnt very quick breaking em up and he let Mayweather use his forearm.
Even if he was on Floyds case, Shane would have still been owned.

Bayless has took over as the top ref in the business. I have yet to see Bayless fukk up a fight
The guy is on point with all of it. He handled last night excellently, in some ways I prefer Smoger, but I'm sure I've seen him fuck up. I can't remember Bayless ever even having a bad round.Quote:

Bayless is a great ref.
Last night, he did a decent job although at times i thought he was abit quick at getting them to break up.
It meant that any inside fighting which might of happened, didn't happen.

Cole is definitely one of the worst going today, very egotistical. Anyone watch Nady during the undercard? He talks with his hands to much in the crowd. He seemed to be talking about shooting guns or something like that before the Hopkins fight but he was pretend shooting the boxers in the ring it looked funny. He seems off.

Yeah. I don't know how Cole -- an obvious incompetent, dangerous ref -- still officiates prize-fights. I think it speaks more to the corrupt state of boxing than it does to anything else. Cole and Vic Drakulich (sp?) should get together and form a non-profit ref school on how NOT to officiate a fight.Quote:
