Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Tonight we get to watch the big man beat another bum, who I'm sure will give us the usual "rabbit in the headlights" approach.
Anyway. What time is the fight due to kick off in GMT?
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
AFAIK 11 PM GMT.
At this point in time the Klits seem to me more annoying than thrilling. Vitali said that "it's not about the size" but it's clear to me that the bros win by perfectly utilizing their size - they throws jabs at a smaller oponent while staying out of his reach. So I don't think any fight against Wlad in the next few years will be exciting unless his opponent will be of at least Lennox Lewis' height. With Vitali I hope someone will be able to catch him before he retires, when he gets old and slow :) But not today :)

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Great, another opponent who's not fit or ambitious enough to do anything other than stand flat footed infront of a Klitschko, taking jab after jab after jab. Too bad Haye's too busy trying to derail the A-Train. Wooop Wooop.
What time is it on?

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Ray Austin, slow as shit Hasim Rahman, old busted up Lamon Brewster, old undersized Chris Byrd
All those guys would handle Sosnowski with ease ;D Zuri Lawrence laid the blue print!!!!! I aam trying to search for a worse fighter a number 2 guy has fought in the division. I would rather see the other Ibragimov get this fight.
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
I really don't see how it could be any competitive despite the last attempts of the promoters to make us believe otherwise.
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
This is one of the worst match-ups of the decade, easy......

I'd rather see Ibragimov's Mum get the fight. Seriously.

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
I like watching guys get beat up, even if it is by one of those idiot Klitches. The fight won't change my estimations of them, but I'm still looking forward to watching a guy get smashed about a bit.
Even if it is with a jab then straight right. Again and again and again and again and...you get the point.

If there is something, the K are the 2 smartest boxers over here, both own a phd, notarious chess masters (and I let you find out how good you have to be to get to the title rank) and are speaking 4-5 languages each. You can hate them but them are definitely far from the idiotic rank.

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
This is a straight up stay busy fight nothing more.

....or it makes good business sense for Vitali
#1 I'm pretty damn sure Vitali won't fight the WBA title holder first (if ever)
#2 Vitali is a little older and I think he's losing his touch a bit hence the soft opponent
#3 and the most important reason is TOMAZ ADAMEK...look at it Vitali fights a no-hoper Polock and will seemingly smash him out in 2-4 rounds (though I figure it could last in the 5-6 range because Vitali has lost some pop) and Adamek is fighting a 6'6+ no-hoper whom he'll probably smash out in virtually the same amount of time.
Outside of Wladimir vs Vitali and one of the Klitschko's vs the WBA title holder I think Vitali vs Adamek makes very good sense right after this fight, and if Adamek uses speed and defense I think he could last with Vitali....he'll still be one hell of a long shot but I think he could last in the 8-10 round range

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
The crappy comp out there is no fault of the klits.......mid as well give sosnowski a crack at it. He has just as much a chance as all the others who don't really have one.

The Klitschko's are masters of the stare down like the greats before them: Lewis, Tyson, Evander...the king of looking mean is George Foreman...although he was also the king of cheesing like a motherfucker when he made his comeback

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
can anyone link me please??

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Me too
Had to reformat fucking lappy and all my saved links are no more
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Well that fight was terrible. You knew Vitali could take him out at anytime he wanted to. What a farce.
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Highlight was seeing Hayden Panetierre in the crowd at the end:o
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
the stadium was very impressive though
-
Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
A mashup as expected but the stadium and the show around it were quite impressive. Now Vitali is free for David Chicken.... if he doesn't run again.

He needs to fight Haye badly, I think a fight with Valuev would be so boring!

lets hope the Haye can happen though. Vitali needs Haye to raise his name, hes never talked about or anything. This thread shows the lack of interest in him as a fighter and to think this fight was for the heavyweight world championship and nobody cares. This is how much he needs Haye who gets x10 more coverage than Vitali

Exactly it shows how boring Vitali is, he needs Haye so badly. If this had been 10-20 years ago everybody would have been talking about a heavyweight world title fight but now it doesnt even get any media attention what so ever, it shows how stale Vitali really is

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
Vitali looked his age tonight.

It will be like fighting a giant punching bag and Valuev goes down around the 7th. I guess he looks for second options in case Haye runs a third time.

Yes he said he definitely would want to fight Haye, but he would be equally happy if Wladimir would get the chance to knock Haye out...and like Saddo said he mentioned Valuev as it would be interesting to fight someone that much bigger than he(Vitali) is...

Well...I guess you have to eat more Bratwurst and Schnitzel... ;D

Re: Klitschko vs Sosnowski
The fact that I could have watched this fight for 10 dollars less than the Vazquez/Bedak fight speaks volumes!

He's looked his age in every fight since his comeback IMO. I think Haye has a much better chance of beating him than Wlad.
