Does anyone have some good documentaries that they can recommend me? Exam study is getting tedious.
The main ones I have found online are 9/11 conspiracy theories, while they are interesting something different would be great.

Ken Burns has some pretty good ones: The Civil War, Baseball, Jazz
Unforgiveable Blackness: The Rise and Fall of Jack Johnson is pretty good
Bus 174. Brilliant. I posted about it in the last film you watched thread in off topic.
Onibus 174
Heres a link to bus 174 if anyone wants to watch it.

Pumping Iron....haha I have that on DVD, Arnold smokes a big old joint at the end, pretty funny considering he's now the REPUBLICAN Governor of California...

Great stuff
Try this one Salty, it’s a very good one IMO no matter if you believe in God or you are an atheist.
YouTube - Unlocking The Mystery Of Life
A couple of good ones on arcade gaming:
The King Of Kong
Chasing Ghosts
a good conspiracy one I enjoyed is Zeitgeist
I will definately add my voice to the recommendations for 'pumping iron'. Also there was a really good documentary on Hugo Chavez on Channel 4 a couple of yers ago - probably one of the best i've ever seen, although I can't remember the name.
If anyone can find me a link for the doc. Inside Hana's Suitcase I will forever be in your debt. I've been dying to see it.
One of my favorite documentaries is the BBC's Planet Earth...the caves part was crazy especially the underwater caves!

Go to about the 7 minute mark and tell me that doesn't leave you breathless
I like space documentaries but can't think of any off the top of my head to reccomend
Good call Lyle. Planet Earth and Life are both cracking.
I like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJ6E3cShcVU
A rare look at life in North Korea, all filmed secretly by a tourist.
Highly recommend "Paradise Lost: The Child Murders at Robin Hood Hills", and the follow up "Paradise Lost: Revelations". They are docs from the 1990's that are very compelling. And I bet that the opinion you have after watching the first one, will completely change after watching the 2nd one.
Here's the trailer from the first one.

I also just watch "Burma VJ: Reporting From A Closed Country", and it was excellent. Here's the trailer.

Man I tell you a few excellent documentaries. Love my documentaries and Independent films...
Grizzly Man - Werner Herzog
Dark Days - Marc Singer
Send A Bullet / Manda Bala - Jason Kohn
I love a good documentary and own dozens.
There's a great new one out now called Dragons or Dinosaurs, Creation or Evolution which imo demolishes the already tottering edifice of evolutionary beliefs in dinosaurs being millions of years old, a must watch imo. Of course most of you will disagree with the conclusions but not because of the evidence which is damning of the religion of evolution, but rather because of your blind faith that the scientists are telling you the truth. ;)
Less controversial but still fun is Simon Schama's History of Britain. I often put these on as bedtime listening, great series.
Any of Michael Palin's travel dvd's are good too.
