Dammit, I might just be back to Europe by 18th... I will have to write them and ask if they put it beginning of September so I could see Pascal-Dawson and Froch-Abraham in one go:cool: Also, it might a double header because Interbox stated a couple of days back that Bute next fight would be in september as they haven't been able to find an opponent for july.... Guess they would make a double header instead of 2 separate fights, especially considering that Dawson-PAscal wouldn't have been so long ago.

Froch going to get beat twice in a row. Should be interesting.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
No doubt froch is all set to be screwed over once again
The best fighter in the tournament not even making it to the semi`s thanks to biased officiating

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
Has this been confirmed?
I heard Fat Mick say it was an option along with an American venue with the fight happening in the afternoon to suit UK/Germany fans. Should do well over there ;D

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
According to another site that apparently we can't name here (is that down to them?) the Fat Man told the Guardian that it's been agreed but there's nothing on the Guardian website about ti. Abraham will smash him. Froch then gets opponent money to get a boxing lesson from Bute and retires to spend more time with his gigantic nose.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
Froch doesnt travel well. He lost to Kess and he almost lost to a washed up Taylor.
Nice enough bloke despite how he comes across on telly but I do think that this is the Cobras last fight. He will choose to retire after this 1.

Blame the guy who stole his velo for this debacle.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
I don't know. I think Froch is easily the least skilled guy in the tournament, but he's got a great chin and Abraham just doesn't throw enough to win rounds against someone with Froch's volume. He relies heavily on KOs, and I think he'll have a tough time getting one here (though I'd love to see it), despite Froch's shit defense. This one's a pick'em for me; I'd almost favor Froch.

I dont think Froch is a particularly busy fighter. He used to be but in his last 3 fights I think he waits too much. Against Kess he was defo too lazy. Froch was hurt by Dirrel and floored by Taylor. Wait til Arthur truns it on in the 2nd half and starts landing his bombs on Carls unprotected chin.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
Seem to remember Carl saying if they fight isn't in England, he will quit the tournament.
At least be a man of your word...

Do we have a Froch-Bute bet if it happens?:D 3-0 Nameless vs the drunk Cockney in bet, sounds good to me, especially because I have juicy ideas for your new profile exhibition :)

I'll take that bet and give you odds. Bute absolutely murders Froch and he would beat Abraham as well. IMO he beats everyone in the Super Six except for maybe Ward. I think Dirrell would give him a tough fight too to be honest.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
I seen this quote by Froch in a story today, and it made me LMAO.
"I'm more than happy to go to Canada because all I want is a fair crack. I won't fight anywhere in Europe unless it's Britain. They're looking at a neutral venue. It's my turn to fight at home and I'm not fighting Abraham in Germany. London or Manchester would be classed as a neutral venue because I'm from Nottingham - and of course I would be happy for the fight to take place there."
So by his logic, wouldn't any city in Germany, other than the city Abraham lives in, be considered neutral ground as well? ;D

This is boxing, you should know that logic has no place here :p.

I actually don't mind Froch, probably because everyone else hates him. It was probably because I was watching it on a shitty stream, but I actually had him winning the Kessler fight. I gave almost all of the close rounds to Froch though and like I said, it was on a shitty stream. Bute would just fucking murder him though.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
I see no way froch can win. But it will be interesting watching him try, i'll give him that much.

I think Froch can beat Abraham, though I still think Abraham should be favored. If Abraham just covers up for the first 6 rounds as is his pattern, I could see Froch hurting him and stopping him or building up a big points lead. Of course, I could also see Abraham countering him and stopping him, but I don't think this fight is a foregone conclusion.

Re: Froch v Abraham in Montreal 18th September
Froch is being under sold in the UK he is fighting top fighters and he is nobody over here which is a real shame. Froch is a quality fighter and the more he fights abroad the less people will hear of him so that he will never be able to fill stadiums over here.

That is a shame...FGroch though he acts like a tool is a exciting fighter to watch...If for anything it is because you never know what will happen with him...He is a decent boxer but can brawl with the best of him...add in the fact he is not resistant of hitting the canvas for drama
