FNF and Showtime...Fight time!

Well seems pretty mellow at the moment and no thread up so heres a B team effort.Thought we'd have more around...ahh well.Its the weekend and we have live action on a couple of networks ESPN and Showtime...cheers!

Solid Lightweights on FNF with free swinging Hank Lundy 18-0 (10) meeting "not the" John john Molina 20-1 (16) which going in seems pretty heated and can only hope for fireworks.Not sure of Co feature and in studio guest is cruiser Matt Godfrey talking up his August 21 match with Huck.

First up Vladini Biosse 6-0 (4) vs Joe McCreedy 11-4-2 (6)...I'm thinking dont blink

Biosse is the boss here, looks a little nervous, but he's handling it well.

McCreedy is a stocky comer but as square as they come and slooow.Southpaw Biosse much faster and boxing but pulls straight back end of round 1 and takes a right from McCreedy whos really loading up.

McCreedy having some success early with the southpaw killer, but has nothing to follow it up with, Biosse took over about a minute in controlling the range.

20-18 Biosse

Hell of a round about three solid exchanges and each guy had some moments, Biosse took the round on my card because he finished all the exchanges, but he got rocked a few times in the round so I wouldn't be surprised if McCreedy took it on some judges cards

30-27 Biosse

Gave 3rd to McCreedy...hes going tribal but paying a price eventually

I have a shutout going but both rounds 3 and 4 could go either way, McCreedy looking a little Felicianoesque, and that looping right to the body looked to hurt Biosse again. Biosse still controlling the action

40-36 Biosse

McCreedy still going for a looping right bingo, but he's noticably slowing down. Biosse still looking strong

50-45 Biosse

Felicianoesque ;D ...check out the Teddy signs they have handed out in crowd??? No one wants to hold them up.

McCreedy is starting to hear House of Pains 'Jump around' ringing in his ears...wow.Biosse is wide

I'll give that one to McCreedy, he had some great success in the closing 30 seconds. Maybe the tides are turning.

59-55 Biosse

5% landed jabs for McCreedy? who does he think he is? Pacquiao?

ok the tides are definitely not turning, McCreedy has a clipped wing and prayer. Biosse increasing his upper body movement, looks like a celebrity ref has emerged getting as much face time as he can

69-64 Biosse

Gotta give McCreedy credit for heart.Biosse is hitting him with everything going into last round

Ohhh Biosse just got clipped and dipped...but is steady.Hes a sucker for rights

79-73 Biosse, looks like he's got something to work with, I'll be interested to see how he progresses, McCreedy, well fought like he'd never seen a southpaw before, honest effort, plenty of heart, but not the understanding to make it competitive really. McCreedy landed some solid right hands, but he never followed up and let Biosse recover.

Whats with the Muppet ? Biosse has nice size,commits to body but needs to watch getting too much tunnel vision,caught some 'dumb' shots.

Molina has some as pretty big height advantage.

Tough call...Molina vs Lundy beginning on FNF and on Showtime Antwone Smith 18-1-1 (10) going against Lanardo Tyler who has lost to solid guys...tough 12 last out with hot prospect Canelo Alvarez

The hand speed differential is ridiculous. Molina just looks like he's doing some competitive eating.

10-9 Lundy, this could very well repeat for 9 more rounds unless Lundy gasses.

Lundy's pretty fast. Kind of wild at times.

Lundy giving the openings to Molina and Molina is too slow to take advantage. I think Molina spars in a hallway, his lateral movement is non-exsistant.

20-18 Lundy

Lundy (and this is a shocker) isn't as good as he seems to think he is. The openings are there. But I just doubt Molina will be able to take advantage of them.

Lundy may be slowing down a bit. Not convinced yet that it matters.

The only way Molina takes a round at this rate is with a knockdown, and that's looking like an extremely slim chance.

End of 3rd with Smith and Tyner on Showbox and its an inside fight.Tyner landing his fair share but Smith mixing defense and quick hooks well...using cross arm defense well but man he just got clipped.Close quarters these two.

He is slowing down a bit. More and more opportunities.
