Surprised you agree with my top 4, I don't think many will. I think Arsenal are so close to winning it. They just haven't quite had the squad to sustain it for 38 games. They are always going to get mauled by Chelsea, but they can beat anybody else on their day.Quote:

It's hard to judge for now. Depends on who else City bring in, and it depends on what happens with Fabregas. Too early to predict yet.

It's really difficult because there are a lot of teams of similar standard. It's a tough league to call.

city have had time to bed in their players now
absoloutely no excuses not to be top 4 this season other than of course the emergence of the boys from east london ;D;D;D
don't even want to start thinking about football just yet. I won't forget the way they let us down in South Africa.
And if Rooney, Lampard, Gerrard and all play blinders at start of season and knock goals in for fun I will be even more fucking annoyed.
Lets hope less than 2000 people attend the Hungary friendly in August at wembley.....won't happen but lets hope anyway
Interesting note, Man U barely squeeked by the Philadelphia Union 1-0 and had fewer shots on goal in a friendly yesterday. The Union are have the 2nd fewest points in all of the MLS teams. I know Man U hasn't got their stride yet, pre-season etc. etc. But aside from a few great runs, they didn't look spectacular.

I've heard that Blackpool want to add DMB and Michael Bradley.
I think Liverpool will be top 4 this season, injuries and an incompetent manager took us out last season but I think this squad is already put together fairly well for depth and whether or not Mascherano and Torres stay we should be good enough to hang with the big boys

I think the only thing that will bother Liverpool down the stretch (unless things are changed) is the lack of depth at Striker (though Ngog has looked good) and the wing backs. We're solid in midfield.

If Torres gets fit and stays healthy, you won't need any other strikers. You wouldn't want anyone else in the world over him when he's in form.Quote:

I thought in Jovanivic you have almost a Kuyt 2. I was very impressed with both of them today. Humble, great in every area, very rounded quality. They work hard for the team.
I'm not really sure, maybe he'll just push Gerrard up there and play Masch and Lucas in behind.
I think Torres will like Cole though, he'll create chances for him and make space as defenders get drawn to him. Shame we've been made to wait to see it though.
You could see Hleb fill that gap if you believe what you read ;)
I'd rather see Aquilani get some playing time....we spent so much on him, might as well let him have a go
