The listed entries are
Marco Huck (WBO Champ)
Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (WBC Champ)
Steve Cunningham (IBF Champ)
Denis Lebedev
Yoan Pablo Hernandez
and one more yet to be announced. (Trying to get one of the WBA champs I believe)
Huck will be the first fight in the tournament and it should start in December.
i'd say Cunningham has to be the favorite
Re: Cruiserweight Super Six
Crap line up that in truth only reason it is going ahead cos there all under the German umbrella, I reckon the last one will be the fella who is fighting Enzo Mac on sept 18th if he wins as he again is another one under the same promotion team.

agreed, but like i said Cunnigham has to be the favorite, he's a solid fighter, and entertaining when he wants to be, so at least he can unify by cleaning up the rest of the garbage at Cruiserweight

I wasn't saying there is better Cruiserweights, I was saying it is a crap division with them 5 and another one not that good in reality and this is Deffo not a " super six " nothing super about it. 200lb division is one of the weakest out there.
I would have Troy Ross in there aswell he was doing really well against Cunningham.

I actually disagree with this to be honest. Cunningham has already beat most of the guys in it, but Huck isn't all that bad and either is the Polish guy with the unpronounceable name. Lebdedev (sp?) has a huge punch too. It could be interesting.

I like the Troy Ross call.

Exactly mate Cunningham has already beat most of them including Huck.
The fight I want to see is Lebdevev v Huck I think Leb is his mandatory that would be a great dust up.

Was the Huck/Cunningham fight a close one? Or blowout?
Leb v. Huck would be a barn burner with someone ending up on the canvas.

Huck Cunningham was very close, going into the last round both guys were looking for the stoppage.
Here's a video of round 12, round 11 ended with Huck mounting a strong offensive.

It's a relative term, at least with the guys they're getting there is no leftover Bute like in the current super 6.
I mean honestly it's about the best thing that can happen in this division.
Here's the fights we've had for the Ring's top 10 in the last year, which for the sake of argument we can consider the field for the movers and shakers of the division. There are indeed some good fights to be had here.
1. Steve Cunningham 1-0 (1 KO)
1 fight:
Win TKO 5th round Troy Ross 6/5/10
2. Marco Huck 5-0 (3 KOs)
5 fights:
Win TKO 5th round Matt Godfrey 8/21/10
Win Towel Stoppage 9th round Brian Minto 5/1/10
Win KO 3rd round Adam Richards 3/13/10
Win UD Ola Afolabi 12/5/09
Win UD Victor Emilio Ramirez 8/29/09
3. Krzysztof Wlodarczyk 2-0 (1 KO)
2 fights:
Win TKO 8th round Giocobbe Fragomeni 5/15/10
Win UD 8th round Konstantin Semerdjiev 11/27/09* Wlodarczyk missed weight by 2.25 lbs.
4. Troy Ross 1-1 (1 KO)
2 fights:
Loss TKO 5th round Steve Cunningham 6/5/10
Win KO 1st round Daniel Bispo 12/5/09
5. Zsolt Erdei 1-0 (0 KOs)
1 fight:
Win MD 12th round Giacobbe Fragomeni 11/21/09
6. Denis Lebedev 3-0 (3 KOs)
3 fights:
Win KO 2nd round Alexander Alexeev 7/17/10
Win KO 5th round Ignacio Esparza 2/22/10
Win Towel Stoppage 6th Ali Ismailov 12/17/10
7. Danny Green 3-0 (3 KOs)
3 fights:
Win KO 1st round Paul Briggs 7/21/10
Win KO 3rd round Manny Siaca 4/14/10
Win TKO 1st round Roy Jones Jr. 12/2/09
8. Giacobbe Fragomeni 0-2 (0 KOs)
2 fights:
Loss TKO 8th round Krzysztof Wlodarczyk 5/15/10
Loss MD 12th round Zsolt Erdei 11/21/10
9. Ola Afolabi 0-1 (0 KOs)
1 fight:
Loss UD 12th round Marco Huck 12/5/10
10. Pawel Kolodziej 3-0 (3 KOs)
3 fights:
Win KO 12th round Parfait Amougui Amougou 6/12/10
Win TKO 3rd round Mark Krence 3/20/10
Win Towel Stoppage 6th round Rob Calloway 12/18/10
Koloziej has overtaken BJ "The People's Favorite" Flores I'm assuming because it's been over a year since he's fought.
Re: Cruiserweight Super Six
he has no fight scheduled to take place any time soon either....now only if he'd talk a bunch of shit about different fighters in his division ;)
Re: Cruiserweight Super Six
Apart from Wlodarczyk, there are 2 young Polish cruiserweights who I'm convinced would do better than Wlodarczyk in the Super Six:
Pawel Kolodziej (Pawel Kolodziej - Boxer)
Mateusz Masternak (Mateusz Masternak - Boxer)
Kolodziej is trained by the same guy who trains Wlodarczyk so I guess he is out. Masternak is trained by former Adamek trainer. The problem with him is that his promotor hasn't been able to put out enough $ to bring him worthy oponents. Other than that he is more prospective than Adamek his age.
Just saying it would be mega super cool if either of them be picked, given that the confirmed (or almost confirmed) names aren't very exciting and that they already fought each other (even twice, like Wlodarczyk - Cunningham), don't hope it will happen.
Re: Cruiserweight Super Six
a super six would be nuts. steve, marco, and krystof are all well conditioned fighters who fight their own particular style well. they can all hit and get hit. id pay to see any of these three guys fight each other. when steve and marco fought... it looked like war for 12 rds. krystof is a little slow but he can go 12 rds, take a beating, and when he does hit, then its a solid punch for sure.

I actually rate Wlodarczyk as a pretty solid fighter. I saw his fight with Cunningham and I thought he equipped himself well against the best of the division. He is pretty athletic. A match between him and Huck/Lebedev would be good.
