September 11:
IBF super-bantamweight title
Steve Molitor v Jason Booth
Commonwealth super-bantamweight title
Matthew Marsh v Kris Hughes
September 18:
European light-middleweight title
Ryan Rhodes v Lukas Konecny
European middleweight title
Darren Barker v Matthew Macklin
Interim WBO light-heavyweight title
Nathan Cleverly v Karo Murat
European Cruiserweight title
Enzo Maccarinelli v Alecander Frenkel
British/Commonwealth heavyweight title
Derek Chisora v Sam Sexton
British welterweight title

September 24:
European light-middleweight title
Matthew Hall v Cedric Vitu
Commonwealth light-heavyweight title
Tony Bellew v Bob Ajisafe
September 25:
European lightweight title
John Murray v Andriy Kudriavtsev
Simpson v Smith has me very pumped great clash that one, Simpson has improved so much last 18 months or so and Smith is probably regarded the best prospect by most in the trade, I think it might have come a bit early for him to fight a tough seasoned pro like Simpson good 50/50 one that.
Looks like a great month for British boxing.

yeah it looks nice
im at a wedding on the 18th which is very disapointing
i know saturdays is probly better for boxing but friday nights was better for me
-
Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
Excellent month. I'm glad the boxing has returned to Saturday nights. It will guarantee more live fights. I've always hated the 10pm straight into the main event friday fight night stuff.
Ringside is back every Thursday night too
-
does it not start at 10 on saturday? Do we get the undercard first?
That would be nice
-
Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
September 18th looks like one of the best nights for British boxing in a long long time. Although I can't stand the man I've got to give Warren credit for getting this night of fights on.

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
I'm looking forward to the Sexton vs Chisora fight, should be a war.
Also really looking forward to Booth stepping up a level, that could be a cracker of a fight

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
The Magnificent Seven is PPV - it's that good a line up I'll end up paying for it. It's got something for everyone to be honest. Sky gonna be showing all seven fights too. Should be a great night.

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
That is not a good list of world class fighters worth paying 36 pounds for a month.

this is a fantastic line up with some of britains best boxers
I've had this discussion before, how many of the so called "world class" fighters that you are talking about are there in the world?

£36 a month? Jesus mate you going on as if Sky Sports is there for boxing and boxing only lol, this is a great line up for September.
Go get Bt Vision mate. ;)
The line up is amazing if you ask me.

Yeah I believe that Sky Sports 1 is only £6 a month with BT vision. But It would not do for me as it's not in HD. Sky is expensive but the quality is uncomparible.

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
I'd much rather see Brit/Euro level 50/50 matches than world-class fighters in one-sided boring mismatches.

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
That's true for everyone Fenster, they have good matchmaking in America too, it just usually gets spotlighted on SHobox and FNF. Especially Shobox, they are in a position where they just won't take a figh if a prospect just isn't being tested. Friday Night Fights, eh not so much but there is a gem in there every week or two.

Gotta admit I like watching ESPN's FNF's. We get it (most of the time) on our ESPN but am I right in thinking there isn't another one on this year??

I was replying to Master's "value for money" post.
If I had the choice between paying for say Mayweather-Marquez or Hopkins-Dawson and Barker-Macklin or Mitchell-Murray i'd choose the Brit fights all day long. I'm almost certain I will see better action and also don't know the winner.
If it was Mayweather-Pac or any world-class combination of a genuine 50/50 fight then it's another matter.

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
Those aren't the only American fights though Fenster, you''re just looking for a reason to slate America again and I'm a patriot who will not allow this. I'd watch a Randall Bailey-Delvin Rodriguez fight, something more evenly matched, over those too. Actually I wouldn't but I would certainly rather re-watch the more evenly matched fights with the lesser names. I would rewatch Powell-Latimore before I would rewatch 90% of Calzaghe's fights too. It's not just Americans who make the bad matchups.
-
Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
amat you bloody fool.
I was merely stating i'd rather watch good standard evenly matched fights than certain fights involving world "stars."
If it makes you feel better - I'd rather watch many of the fights listed over Calzaghe-Manfredo, Khan-Salita, Haye-Barrett etc. It has nothing to do with the good ole USA.
U-S-A!
U-S-A!
U-S-A!

Femster was right americans are a bit daft, they let boxing slip with this type of stupidity
look at the super 6, they fuct that up royal

Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
I would prefer to watch world class fighters such as Chad Dawson v Pascal, Froch v Kessler, Ward v Kessler than these fights. No way is Warren's card worth PPV.
-
Re: Sky Sports Boxing line up for September looking top quality!!
crackin plan
we could have the fantastic 3
lets start promoting it, putting something like that together should be easy
warren did shit job with this oine, getting them 7 fights together, all of them bums, should be a rubbish night of boxing
lets see if we can get mayweather and pac on the same card
think about that?

Now that would be worth it.
