Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Hi all - new user here - just wondered how you all thought the Haye v Harrison fight will go? I can see Audley holding on and spoiling early on hoping Haye will get desperate and leave himself open for a big shot. If Haye is patient and smart he should win this one easy.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Really it shouldn't go past 4 rounds with haye winning by KO

Thanks for the welcome. Every big man with a punch has a chance! That's why I'm not a boxer! Still think Haye will win though!

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I actually started to convince myself harrison had a chance (a punchers chance)
i suppose there is a very slight chance
haye will knock him out tho, probably in the first 4 rounds, harrison will go into his shell and do not much in the entire fight
its a pitty coz its a massive event for british boxing but lets be honest with ourselves
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
harrison may 4 once is his life really go for it;D come on audrey just go for it, there is a slight chance he can connect & send haye into space
welcome artofboxing!

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I think Haye will win by the ref stepping in and waving off the fight. A lot of people are saying this will definitely end in a brutal KO but I think the ref stepping in is more likely. Harrison will get hurt and take a flurry of unanswered shots without punching back, some point in the first half of the fight, and the ref will stop it.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
You just know Audley isn't going to do enough to win any rounds and any shot he has is from a random hayemaker. I imagine Haye is going to try and carry him for a couple of rounds and then take him out by the 4th.
Audley should retire and then Haye should retire too if he doesn't take on a Klit.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
1st round - audley comes out very hesitant to throw and haye lets his speed do the work without landing much
haye 10
harrison 9
2nd round - haye begins to up his work rate and around halfway into the round lands big which appears to stun harrison into action, clear haye round
haye - 20
harrison - 18
3rd round - haye having the better of most of the round before late on audley connects with a left as haye steps in and haye is all over the place desperately clinching on to the ropes as a hesitant harrison attempts without much success to finish it there and then
haye - 29
harrison - 28
4th round - haye begins to dominate and lands big on harrison who appears stunned and haye actually comes close to flooring him before once again audley lands a monster counter only this time the bell is not on hayes side and audley proceeds lay out a dozed up haye on 2 seperate occasions before with about 18seconds left of the round the ref jumps in and audley harrison becomes world heavyweight champion
YOUR WINNER AND THE NEW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD.....AUDLEY "A-FORCE" HARRISON

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I think this is all over in 1 round... i reckon Audley will get caught cold and banged out quickly;)
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Harrison has a small punchers chance but thats about it.
Haye will remember the last time he took for granted his opponent.
He got KOed.(Carl Thompson)
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I dont see Haye giving Harrision a chance i think he jumps on him from the start and stops or ko's Audley in the 1st or 2nd round.

He didn't really get KO'ed, he run out of steam and his corner threw in the towel while he was still on his feet. Because he had nothing left, it was a good learning experience for him and he improved alot.
That was his stamina that let him down not his chin.
As for Audley Harrison, fellas you have got to be taking the piss surely. Audley Harrison was losing to Michael Sprott for christ's sake, yes the same Michael Sprott from Reading who's C class fighter.
And wow Audley Harrison actually threw a punch without being so defensive minded, that's his job jesus christ. That say's alot about the man when people were in shock that in a decade, he threw 1 punch without thinking of the consequences.
But the thing that stands out to me, is how the hell he was in that situation in the first place.
David Haye will knockout that big useless lumbering idiot in a few rounds.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
I was thinking about this and it hurt to think Harrison has a chance ;D if he can really take Hayes shots he can win this he just has to land that big shot on him and it will be over but what are the chances of him taking Hayes shots because we all know who is going to land first. On a side note IF Harrison wins i think he would go straight after the Klitschko brothers with no messing (yes he's that stupid) but it would really benefit the sport because so many casual fans would be interested! But he'd get destroyed so maybe its better if Haye wins. ;D

good post. i was thinking the same thing. i still think haye will win by middle rounds because he will land that big shot first.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Amazing how people think Audley Harrison has a chance, because he threw one deadly punch in a decade against a C class fighter. A fighter he needed to rematch because he got knocked the fuck out, in the 1st meeting.
You guys are delusional Audley Harrison has no chance.

I'd agree with this, although i do think it will take Haye a little longer to get him out of there. It'll be done and dusted by 7 imo.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
It seems that Harrison has found new life. He has turned his career around and now is ready to take on the big boys. Haye is more mouth than punch. Harrison wins by KO before the 8th round.

IMO Chicken Little still isn't a proven puncher at heavyweight. The guys he has fought were has beens and protected fighters.

I'd like to see a Haye win and would love to see it by knockout.

come back when the klits stop fighting bums mr hypocrite

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Haye is a good fighter, excellent amateur pedigree, good hand speed, reasonable power. He should win.
Unfortunately, and I hate to say this but ....... Harrison is a good talent (he has just underachieved massively), he is much bigger than Haye, he has good technique and he knows this is his last chance. Haye is also chinny.
I think Haye may go down during the fight, and we will see what he's made of. If he has a heart, he gets up off the floor to stop Fraudley in the mid to late rounds.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Goodbye to the fraudley show....Haye get rid of this guy and go fight the russians.
You wasting your time on this Arrison and you need to start putting up.
Whatever they offer you, take the 30% and let him have the 70% and then once youve beaten him,Then your in a better postion for the other.
All the talk is cheap.

He should easily KO Audley but its not like Audley's never been hurt or KO'd so IMO it doesn't mean much. At least if he KO'd Chisora he would have achieved a little something worthwhile.

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Audley was great when he won in the olympics and it gave boxing a much needed shot in the arm at the time, but for me, its Haye all the way, but on a personnal level its not just ability, but personnality and for me Haye seems a bit more grounded and has more humility.
Probably not the best reasons to be a fan of a boxer and certainly the view of a novice, but we all have to start somewhere, even at at my ripe ole age ;D

I agree Ice, people have lost their minds in a desire to have in their heads a decent matchup. Just not going to happen though. It is a joke matchup. An old man in Harrison taking on a relatively decent heavyweight.
Are the people back home really milking this up? It is too ridiculous for me to even take any half way seriously. Is everyone on what Ricky Hatton is taking? An absolute joke.

I guess the British media is just really good at hyping shit up...I can imagine similar circumstances here in the US, but not to this degree

Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
If Haye doesnt box like a cunt , he will KO the undeserving Harrison inside 2 rounds , and will floor him the first time he lands with a big punch.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
The fight won't go longer than 3 rounds. FACT. Well it's not a fact, it's an accurate prediction.

Lyle let me tell you something , most English fans with a brain know this is a nothing fight , Harrison is a joke , and this fight should not be taking place , also i dont listen to anything the English gutter press say.
-
Re: Haye v Harrison - How will it go?
Yeah but it's still gonna draw enough attention to be regarded as a major attraction.

I want to trust you Al, but I just have a feeling that a dominant performance vs Audley Harrison will be too good for the British Media (and the WBA title holder) to pass up a huge celebration and the reality of the situation.
