It's easy to take a quick boxrec opinion of a 10 loss veteran and say he has no chance. But this is a real test, Salido is a tough veteran and a crafty one at that, I think this is a real test for Gamboa.

On the undercard...............
Anthony Peterson (134 lbs.) 30-0 (20 KOs) vs. Brandon Rios (135 lbs.) 24-0-1 (18 KOs)
WBA Lightweight eliminator.
Finally Peterson steps up, again this should be a good fight, either guy could take it.

I'm looking forward to seeing both fights tonight, should be entertaining.

Peterson looking great on the outside, not sure why he is falling in to clinch, there's no call for that.

Rios on a leash that round...going to be a long night if he stays out there.

1 - 0 Peterson. He has zero power though and it looked like he might have been bothered by Rios uppercut.

Hell of a round, I think Rios landed slightly more effective particularly with the uppercuts in the 2nd minute

Peterson looks like he's never seen an uppercut before. Absolutely no idea how to stop it from landing. This is turning into a grewat fire fight and I think that puts Peterson at a disadvantage.

2 - 0 Peterson, I think he just edged it. Rios definitely had the more damaging punches though. Peterson has been doing some nice body-work.

HOly fuck! What a great round. Rios won it big.

How did Peterson not go down. He was badly hurt. but he showed great heart and a fighters spirit.
