I'm right here wit ya buddy..
You ok mate, bit over excited I thought there Bellew over reaching throwing wild shots needs to take his time.
Much better round don't think this will go much longer. Bellew landing bombs in there.
Round 4 WOW Bellew down hurt for a moment, gets up and staggers Big Bad Bob with a cracking right great round.
Fuck me Tony!! He is rushing his work looking for the on big shot just box him and you will finish him, I have money on this top end before the 7th ffs.
Jesus Bellew looks awful tonight telgraphing his right falling in love with his power.
Edit my other Bellew thread clev pummels him in 6 :p.
Funny stuff...
Never seen or heard of Bellew. Looks like Juan Man & kinda fights like him too...
Mate I think I have gone a bit ott with him after seeing this :-X.
I honestly thought he was something special only one off night but he looks shocking tonight on this performance never mind Cleverly bloody Mcintosh does him, his chin looked a bit shakey when he went down as well.
Very rare I get anyting boxing related wrong so please forgive me. :p
Fank Warren avin a word with Bellew... ;D
Oh fuck me, even Clev is havin a word! ;D ;D
Those gloves must cost a mint. I wouldn't bother.
Ajisafe took that right hand fairly well. His legs didn't but you know....
Tony Bellew = EXPOSED.
Well if Bellew can't adjust during a fight, here's to hoping he can adjust after a fight.
I can't ever remember seeing a fighter telegraph their right hand so much. That was a terrible performance for a promising fighter.
He said at the end - "i never thought i'd EVER go 12 rounds at lightheavy" .. think you're overrating your power a little there mate ;)
It was a poor performance from Tony. He looked for the big shot too much without even trying to set it up. He really needs to get back to basics and not try and rely on blasting people out.
At the same time I don't think people should totally write him off after one poor performance, he was fighting a trickyish southpaw with a bit of power and fighting out of the Ingle gym, so he has got good people behind him, but I never to be totally honest saw Bellew as much of a threat to Cleverly.
I think Cleverly in 2-3 years will be a world class fighter but now he needs to start picking his opponents carefully and learn his trade against good opponents who can be beaten but people that will make him use his skills on the outside instead of people like Murat who will stand and trade but not really punish him for getting into brawls.
I see the future of the British 168-175 divisions being very bright with fights between the likes of Cleverly, Groves, De Gale, maybe Froch if he's still about and if he can improve a lot Bellew. One thing for certain is British boxing certainly looks very bright.
I didn't actually socre the fight to be honest, but it was close very close, RJJ the guy was an ingle fighter true but he is shite, Bellew should be taking the likes of bob out in 4 rounds.
He is 28 in a few weeks time is ticking on.
He missed far too many shots, Clev would make him look silly and stick him on his ass easily.
I've thought he looked good until then, so I'll hold judgement for now, but he needs to step up a level again and based on this slight step up then, I think he's gonna struggle. He also got bust up quite easy.
The other guy looked solid and durable though. Awkward to fight.
