Jaz, its just a sparring match is all. Who was available AND willing to fight him that is better than Chisora?

Fair play to Derek for making such a brave move but in hindsight I think it will prove to be a silly mistake. He could get ruined. He looked great vs Sexton but it highlighted he is still learning and not the finished article yet. Wvlad is possibly thinking Derek might be a threat in a couple of years so best to get him now whilst he is still Green or he is trying to beat Haye to another British showdown and take this opponent out of the equation.

It will be a nice fight to watch and interesting to see how Wvlad copes with a guy who comes to win for a change but the end result will be a 1st loss for the Brit

There may not be shit, but there is no excuse for this. Even Harrison & Sosnowski arguably had more cred through being Euro Champ. The best fighter Chisora has beaten is Sam fuckin Sexton! Haye may be a joke for fighting Audley, but this is just as bad if not worse & Lyle you well know if Haye was fighting Chisora you'd be calling it the joke it is.

Not to sure mate, am sure they will be a big screen there, no doubt this will be part of the PPV package from sky with part of the show going out to Germany.

While I agree this is a complete mismatch in my eyes, give wlad some slack. Unlike haye he is not billing this as some mega fight like haye is doing with harrison, but just as a stay busy fight. He just was in the ring a couple weeks ago...bad decision on chisora's part on accepting this.

Not really. He's already got much further than most thought. He's got nothing to lose whatsoever.

Im sure Wlad will take a lot of flack for this but, honestly, who else is there for him to fight? Everyone else is ducking him and that isn't his fault. Sure we all know how this fight is gonna go but at least he is keeping busy - unlike others.

I had a feeling Warren would take this it is win win for Del Boy, this oppurtunity might not come again.

...why not, he'll beat this guy a little quicker but he'll beat him just like any of these other heavy's these days. One thing i'll say for the two klitch's they stay in the ring and give all these guys plenty of chances to topple the king.

Fuck it, why shouldn't Chisora get a shot? Undefeated British and Commonwealth champ, he's up for having a world title shot, he's probably desperate for it, I would be as a pro boxer. There are plenty title shots to go around with 3 champs and shit competition. I'm sure equally as undeserving foe will get a shot in coming months.

Klitscko has been kind enough to give him a chance at his dream. In any sport there is always a chance, no matter how small, so you never know. I actually think Chisora might be stupid enough and arrogant enough to believe he has some kind
of chance. You never know, you kind of do, but you dont. It could happen. But it probably won't.

Plus there is the ongoing Haye thing still, all part of the story this for me, Wlad fights Hayes country number one. It sends quite a statement if Wlad destroys Chisora in two, which wouldn't be a suprise. The smart thing is that they would be doing it infront of a UK crowd, thus damaging further the reputation of Haye and gaining interest in them at the same time. Haye will struggle to have any say soon on what goes in a contract as he'll have no bargaining chips at all. Especially if he loses to Audley.

I still think Haye has it in him to beat either Klitscko on his day and for that alone want him to.

Honestly, who is there for him to fight? Does he not deserve one gimme after all the good guys he's gotten in the ring with? Besides the other guys who are near the top are all locked in fights. This is a fight to keep him active.

Nikolai Valuev recovering from surgery
Alexander Dimitrenko I don't know what his deal is

This is a better matchup than Vitali vs Sosnowski. I think people should just accept that it is going to happen and it is a voluntary defence against an unbeaten fighter. It could definitely be worse.

Just realised it's also the same night Khan fights. Should be one hell of a nights boxing for Britain then!
