Shocking match making this to be fair, don't no if McClosky's people are to blame, but jesus this guy is on the verge of fighting for a world title and he is fighting Barry Morrison. I would be dissapointed if Frankie Gavin fought Morrison at this stage never mind the European Champion.

Agreed, don't know what they are smoking over in McCloskey's camp. He should be hitting a higher level than this for sure!
To be honest, I'm more looking forward to seeing our two young undefeated Cuban defectors in action - Luis Garcia and Alexei Acosta.

Agreed with the matchmaking for this one, it's shocking and Morrison must think he's blessed to keep getting title opportunities thrown at him. You can understand why people want him to fight their guys, he's tough, durable and will always last most of the rounds. However, this shouldn't be what McCloskey's guys should be booking for him.

No wonder we've only got Kirakosyan v Foster on Sky, because it's not much worse than the McCloskey fight, and probably cheaper to put on.

Morrison got the Scottish anthem, McCloskey gets whatever he wants? Can I go to Belfast and get someone to sing come out ye black and tans? Or go to England and get a choir in for the choral version of you can shove your f**king chariots up your arse?

I like watching McCloskey he has a nice style, very quick.

He's making Morrison look ordinary. Which he is. McCloskey should be looking to get a KO on his record tonight, as he is outclassing Morrison easily.

Can't say we've learnt much from this one. I knew McCloskey should have been fighting better opposition, and the result proves it. Paul gets a paycheque though, and stays busy until his management can sort him a real fight, either an eliminator or a world title fight.

Theres alot of options at lww, lets hope he gets a top 20 opponent next time out. He isnt getting any younger and once he slows down his style wont work as good.
