Mr. Mayweather Sr. is the steward, a fine representative, and a qualified spokesman for the Mayweather clan. He is, as head of their family, at some level, their voice of reason, so it is understandable that their clan's displeasure will be voiced through him.
Although personally, as far as being newsworthy, I found the video a bit of a reach... It is however wihtin their right to voice their sentiments, and if awkwardness was shown in the video, if at all there was any, it is offset by the sincerity and genuineness of its contents. After all it was an ambush interview and in no way staged nor rehearsed. It is indeed a true reflection of their clan's pervading sentiment!

I've defended floyd cause to this day i belive he is by far the best boxer...maybe not fighter but boxer in the sport. But all the name calling and videos and shit are really getting old for a guy not fighting. Floyd please get an intelligent advisor and shut this whole family up.
