Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hj-At...layer_embedded#!
Poor Audley he is going to get destroyed, depends on Haye's tactics I think he should just go in there from the first bell and take him out shouldn't take him that long imo.
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
Hardcore!
That was some sparring right out of the Tyson Fury handbook, must have been a mate of Haye's who can only afford one glove.
I agree on the tactics, Haye should be all over him like a cheap shellsuit. Audley will go into his shell and become a punch bag for Haye to do as he pleases. If Auldey gets any kind of encouragement Haye could find himself on the end of a decent counter. Haye can eliminate that by going at him from the off.

Haye looks in great shape and arreolla never does....yet one guy fights while the other just talks. Besides how good of shape do you really need to be in to beat audley. I doubt either of the klitchs would need more than a week and probably wouldn't need to take off their sweats to beat Harrison . People making Harrison look like any type of decent opposition Is pretty funny

It is the worst fight in recent memory. An absolute joke, but people don't like that to be said, as they want to hold on to the hope that old Audley has a semblance of a chance or that they might get a decent domestic showdown.
Waste of time and a waste of money for anyone who pays for it IMO, but I am not watching so will just say what I think.
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
The fight makes good sense finacially, no it wont be a great fight but Audley does have a chance, no doubt he can hurt Haye.
I pray to god that Haye smashes him to bits, if Audley manages to land one and wins!!!! Fuck me it will be unbearable. He wanted to be hailed as the greatest after reversing his loss to Danny Williams, imagine if he becomes 'World Champion'?

I'm a miserable sod because I would like to see Haye face better fighters more? It's beyond me why a world champ beating up a journeyman is considered a good night.
It is pointless. It serves no greater purpose. It is like watching Joe Calzaghe fight Manfredo, it just doesn't make any sense.
Oh, but lots of money! That's what I don't get, the public could be going for this, but for real boxing fans to be getting into it? That's just a bit sad.
It is a poor reflection on the British boxing public. They would probably get excited by a toothless granny in a tent.

Danny Williams V Mike Tyson was one of the best boxing experiences I've ever had as a viewer, total sham of a fight that Williams had no chance of winning, turned out 15 quid or whatever it was well spent.

Real boxing fans enjoy the sport instead of moaning and groaning about everything.
You're right, you don't get boxing, you still can't grasp that money is king. It is a business. Fighters fight to earn as much money as possible. That's it.
The thing is with guys like you, if Audley does pull the upset you'll be making a hundred posts about how you knew Haye was shit/coward/fruad all along

Money is not king in my world, even if makes the sport your world. Good people aspire to more in life.
If Audley beats Haye that will be perfect, but I am not a fan of Audley and I despise Haye, so I doubt I will be posting all that much about it. Maybe I'll have a good laugh, but that's all one can say about such a fight.

Its a hunch. Buying PPV is normally a masses thing, unless its a 5 fight Amir Khan PPV is generally worth it and we all go for it. Haye Harrison will be an event, Harrison will either get slaughtered or pull off a win, its not going to be a snoozefest.

He might aswell. Was going to suggest a lovely book for him to read in between rounds, but then i remembered you can't turn the pages with boxing gloves on.

Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
Haye is expected to win this easy, so he has a lot to lose if Audley causes him any trouble at all.
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
I think despite it's going to feel like pissing money down the drain I'm going to pay for this fight.
It's just not worth me trying to find a stream of the fight on my slow internet connection. If the undercard looks good, it will be better than spending it at the pub or somthing.
Audley does not look in bad shape for this fight, I just hope he throws punches. He's like a racing driver with a fast car who hardly uses the gas pedal!

The undercard looks a bit better now Groves is on it. His fight this weekend has been cancelled due to James Toney ;D not passing a medical.
I watched Ringside last night and Degale was on it talking shit as usual. I really hope when they do eventually meet Groves kicks his arse but I think my money would be on De Gale unfortunately!

Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
I've rewatched a few Audley fights in anticipation of this. I used to have the belief that he was good never had the heart to take the necessary risks to be able to dominate an opponent. After re-watching some of his fights, i've come the conclusion that actually he isn't that good, and even if he did have heart and bottle, he'd only marginally be better than he already is. ;D
His only shot is a Hail Mary. I'd absolutely love it if he won. His post fight interview would easily eclipse Tyson Fury's grammy acceptance speech.
All aboard the A-Train. Woop-Woop. ;D
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
Mate it doesnt even bare thinking about. He wanted to be hailed as the second coming for beating Danny Williams, can you imagine if he actually won a world title?
Perhaps Audley has already won? His post fight speech caused a disruption to the space time continuem and a worm hole opened allowing that old dear to go back to the 20's and appear in a Charlie Chaplin film?
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
What was so bad about that speech was he was looking straight down the camera and ignoring all the questions Jim Rosenthal was asking him. Basically anyone that doubted him he just fucked by beating a shot-to-shit Danny Williams who took the fight on a few days notice.
Please god don't let him hit the jackpot. ;D

You're wrong. Despite being a Fitzroy Lodge boy, which probably means I'm contractually bound to support Haye, Audley winning would just be too fucking funny. One final glorious moment for the delusional buffoon who never stopped believing in himself.

Love this man!
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
I remember him repeating over and over again 'do you believe now?' or similar and Rosenthal was stuck for words, eventually he was obliged to say yes I do but what he really wanted to say was steady on mate. its Danny the enigma Williams for fucks sake ;D

Exactly mate. It would be brilliant.
"My name is Audley, my name is Audley, Audley Money, Audley Money"
That's fucking talent right there. I think we all know he's already won......in life. We all fail in comparison, except from the time travelling man-girl from the 20's. ;D
-
I'm glad Haye has shed some pounds, he's coming in much lighter for this fight than his last two.
I was worried with the lack of weight limits he would balloon.
-
Re: Haye public workout, looks sharp and in great shape.
Not sure if anybody has posted this anywhere, but in case not and seeing as he's a stablemate:
Groves fight tomorrow is off. Shame as I was looking forward to watching it live on Sky.
"
Sky Sports reports that George Groves will not be defending his recently acquired Commonwealth Super-middleweight title against James Obede Toney (not to be confused with James 'Obese' Toney, who is a completely different fighter) tonight after Toney failed a medical. Toney's failure to pass his exam was purportedly due to a cataract problem, which left him with much-reduced vision.
It is mentioned that Prizefighter winner Patrick Mendy was offered the chance to replace Toney, but he refused the bout. This is a completely understandable decision from Mendy, whose best fight would probably fall short against the unbeaten Groves, and a reluctance to jump into his biggest ever fight on less than 48 hours notice is not a black mark of any consequence against him.
Groves will now fight on the David Haye vs Audley Harrison undercard on November 13th"

People making Harrison look like any type of decent opposition Is pretty funny
99% think it is a joke of a fight.
That's because you're a miserable sod. Thousands of people will have an enjoyable night whatever the outcome.
See, I knew you would be the first to say that. ;D
Well then Audley has a great shot should Haye dislocate his knee cap.
Thus making it worth paying 15 quid for no?
You have a point
