I am ordering the marg vs pac ppv this saturday. anyone else planning on ordering it?
Nope, and it has nothing to do with any moral outrage. I already have a friend that's really into combat sports that usually orders UFC fights and big boxing matches, so I'm heading over to his place to freeload.
Two Punchers, and pressure fighters. Explosive! Only thing is, It might not last beyond mid rounds. But for sure I'll be ordering this one.
I gotta order it. It's a tradition since 2005. It's always a festivity in my house to have a Pac ppv fight. I got 20-30 people family and friends, maybe more that are coming over. Plus it could be Manny's last fight. I won't break the tradition just because of Margacheato.
I said I wouldn't order it, as a protest to Margarito getting a payday. But last weekends fights got me really pumped up and feeling the boxing vibe. Soooooooooo................I'll probably order it and have a few friends over. I'm surprised at how many casual fans have brought this fight up to me. Good for boxing.
As an aside, the evening will start with frustration of trying to keep a HayeForce stream going as it isn't being broadcast here at all.
I'd love to pay extra for it, but it's free over here. So no.
Nope. I will catch this on a stream as well.
it's true, the decent names are Rios, Jones, and Rigondeaux, but they're not even going to be in competitive fights (only other known name is Karass and i'm sure Jones will stomp him out in 5), and you're dame right that i wouldn't buy a fight in Britain, cause i'm not stupid enough to order a FARCE like Haye Vs. Harrison ;D
Watch the repeat mate.
i usually only order ppv's if there is a strong undercard. although there are big names on this undercard, the fights are mostly mismatches.
I wouldn't miss this one, it will be money well spent. Not only will this be a potentially entertaining night, the sport of boxing could use decent PPV numbers to keep MMA and UFC at bay. Every little thing counts!
How can I watch a stream? Aren't those just viral sites that never work? I've ordered almost every boxing PPV in the last 10yrs and disaster has struck my household. I can't order it. And I'm forced to take care of my father who is passing. So anyway I can watch it online? I know this fight will reach $80-90 with all of Comcasts fees and the extra for HD and all the crap. Just want to watch it at home but the money is to tight. Any ideas? Thank you kindly
Me & a couple of mates are gonna chip in. Its the only way I could justify spending that kind of money.
Plus I don't have Sky ;D
I actually disagree with you a bit there. To me, every one of the fights on the card have clear favorites, but aren't mismatches. Cordoba v. Rigondeaux is not a mismatch at least on paper. Cordoba has only lost twice: once in a fight of the year against Dunne and once against Poonsawat. Not bad losses and Cordoba makes for entertaining fights for the most part. Certainly, Rigondeaux should win, but when won't he go into a fight not favored? Mike Jones is in the toughest fight of his career. Of course, he likely will win too, but it is a step up in competition. And Brandon Rios, although a scumbag, is never in a dull fight. Pacquiao is the in the main event against a much bigger opponent.
Plus the card has a lot of Mexican boxers on it and I know from your posts, you are a huge Mexican boxing fan, and also in particular a huge Margarito fan. Based on the card, I don't see why you wouldn't order it.
Thanks guys...yha times are tough. I'm not having any ease finding this stream stuff and I guess possibly cause I always order PPV. I'm leaning on ordering it...although I'm not a Pac fan, well what would be better for my father to watch on his deathbed? Nothing lol I think a Pac beat down would be a great last boxing match if it turns out to be that. If anyone has a stream hopefully it's posted on the site.
