Women Boxing...MORE EXPOSURE

It's getting more exposure but still I find myself turning the channel over or skipping the reports whenever I see them on boxing sites or telly. I'm all for equal rights but the only female I want between them ropes is a pretty round card girl not some dyke prancing around pretending to be a man....u know what I mean!!!

I'm just wondering what your thoughts are cause I can't be the only person thinking this and wondering what the hell is going on. I would rather watch a John Ruiz fight rather than watch two hairy fairies trying to pit-a-patter each other for round after round.

I think you sound like a bit of a misogynist knob to be honest. Woman's boxing is becoming quite popular, and will be introduced into the Olympics in 2012.

dam this was a entertaining thread to read. I cant even remember the last time a watched a womens boxing bout, nor do I care if I ever see another again.

Meh if that's what they want to do let them go for it, I'm sure there have been a few good female fighters involved in decent scraps...

I think what they should do is have a mud wrestling contest with boxing gloves.....that will get the viewing figures up and be alot more entertaining......but please stop this boxing nonsense!!!

I agree with the OP. To be honest i hate it when i see Womem doing anything other than cooking and ironing. Don't get me started on letting 'Blacks' on buses either.

I really don't care one way or another but I don't go out of my way to watch them. Christy Martin was always entertaining on the Tyson undercards.

I have to admit - when I saw the title of the thread I was expecting a post on why women should box topless.

Would you go for a women's championship fight on the undercard of a mega fight when good under-cards fell apart. Rather than having to watch some disappointment?

No problem in having women trying some sports out there, whatever. I am just not a fan of women in boxing or any other sports where women participate. It will always be a lower level to men’s sports. I’ll change the channel if women sports come up. Before someone gets all sensitive, it’s fine for women to practice sports really, I am just not interested in watching, that’s all.
