Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
Quote:
David Haye's manager has dismissed the suggestion that the WBA heavyweight champion has been offered a date to fight Wladimir Klitschko.
WBO and IBF heavyweight champion Klitschko, 34, said on Monday he was waiting to see whether Haye would accept a fight on 2 July.
But Adam Booth claims he has not heard from the Ukrainian's team this year.
Haye, 30, is scheduled to fight mandatory challenger Ruslan Chagaev in England in May at an undecided venue.
"I haven't heard from their camp since December," Booth told BBC Sport.
Booth also criticised Klitschko's next scheduled title defence, against Britain's Dereck Chisora.
"Wladimir has got to stop deceiving boxing fans and not take on 14 fight novices," he said.
Meanwhile, Klitschko told BBC Sport: "I think after talking so much nonsense, he [Haye] has to show up in the ring.
"He's been trying to be smart, but eventually he's put himself in the corner. And he's talking about legacy? I don't see any legacy with him," he said.
"I know the British fans are looking forward to this fight and I'm looking forward to satisfying the British fans to fight David Haye," he added.
"I'm right here, and I'm confirming that 2 July is the date for the fight - either David Haye takes it or he leaves the whole thing."
Klitschko also denied a disagreement over money was preventing the fight from taking place.
"We are agreed on the money so we split everything 50-50, but money is not an issue right now," he said.
The Ukranian also admitted that he is not bothered whether the fight takes place in the UK or not, saying "it doesn't matter".
There is a video as well of Wlad talking with the reporter.
BBC Sport - David Haye camp dismiss Wladimir Klitschko claim
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
booth really should stay away from critiquing wlad's level of competition.
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
More bullshit from fat head:
Quote:
"David and me are tired of the publicity that Klitschko keeps continuing to spout," Booth said.
"I haven't heard anything from the Klitschkos since the new year when they told me they were going to be fighting Dereck Chisora next instead of David, after having giving them everything they wanted.
"(It was) a total waste of time, we never got to the contract stage and it's so far from being a completed deal because they were looking for any reason not to make the fight last time we negotiated.
"They said 50-50 we said 'fine', even though David brings more to the table, they said it has to be on RTL even though RTL would pay less than our German broadcaster, so we said 'fine', how much are you putting into the pot from RTL, and they say 'we're not telling you'.
"It's one-upmanship publicity and it's just a bit tedious and a bit tiring as far as i'm concerned.
"That's the kind of logic you get when you're dealing with that level of arrogance."
Arrogant
Booth insisted Haye is happy to get in the ring with the WBO and IBF champion but will not shirk his responsibilities as the WBA title holder.
"David is a WBA champion and if they think the WBA are going to let their championship sit and rot on the shelf, while he goes about his business, that's just another indication of how arrogant they are," he added.
"They don't know how to negotiate a 50-50 fight because they've never been involved in one.
"He had 50-50, walking out second, being in the red corner...David just wanted to get into the ring.
"Even then he said, no thanks we're going to fight Dereck Chisora. Then he came out with excuses like it was Sky's fault for not pushing Amir Khan's fight around.
"The level of arrogance is unbelievable and we're sick and tired it. If he wants the fight, get into the ring with David next.
"David's fighting in May, Wladimir's fighting in April. That gives David enough time to fight in October, if Wladimir wants to get in the ring with him.
"But the negotiations we had last time was the first time I believed he doesn't want to get in the ring with David."
Absolute cretin.
Wlad has never ducked anyone in his career and David Haye has done NOTHING to make Wlad want to do it now.

I called it from the get go and have been right ever since. The sad thing is if the guy ever does fight Wlad it won't even be close, Wlad will demolish him easily.
Either Haye knocks him out in the first five rounds (not impossible but unlikely) or he gets his head jabbed off all night and it does, in fact, resemble a pizza like Wlad predicted.
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
Does Booth not realise how hypocritical he is saying the Klitschko's need to stop deceiving the fans by fighting bums and that they're spouting publicity all the time? What a knob
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
Since Haye will never fight the Klitschko's and retires this year, he is totally worthless for boxing. I hope instead of taking on Mormeck (in a joke of a fight), he chooses to face Povetkin and gets outclassed and knocked out.

I read today that the WBA have promoted Povetkin to #2 ranking, so if the BBBC don't license Chagaev to box in the UK then he'll have to move on to Povetkin. That wouldn't be a bad fight imo, much better than some of the names Booth has been mentioning instead. Though I still hope this fight happens in July.

Seems to me that the Klits are just getting their on back on Haye and seem to be enjoying it as well. ;D

WBA ranked Povetkin at #2. Interesting, to me looks like Sauerland want their WBA belt back. But again there is the problem with the fighters and their trainers, both Haye and AP are known for ducking.

Looks like Povetkin may well be Hayes next fight now and to be honest I know now that Haye KO's him. Anyone disagree? Put your MONEY where your mouth is!!
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
I cant believe people are still siding with the wlad
Re: Wlad in new offer to Haye - Booth claims it hasn't been made
I can't believe we're still making threads about this. Isn't anyone else bored with this shit? We should make a pact to stop talking about this until they sign the fight one of them retires. Honestly, there is so much bullshit from both sides I'm beyond caring. There is building a fight, and then there is just plain pissing off the public. Either get the fight signed or both of you just fuck off into retirement.

The 1st right cross Wlad lands (probably at the end of round 1) will put the WBA title holder in trouble and perhaps knock him down. Wlad says he wants to PUNISH him for 12 rounds (it doesn't mean "just jab him for 12 rounds")....I highly doubt it lasts that long.
Wlad will treat the WBA title holder like he's going to treat Chisora...he'll open up early and finish the fight early.
KO in 3-5, winner and STILL Heavyweight Champion of the World 'Dr. Steelhammer' Wladimir Klitschko!!![/QUOTE]
