FNF Guerrero-Findley/ Porter-Adjaho

I'm making a thread for fridays fights. Well looks like another double showcase for Porter and Guerrero. Although Guerrero may have a tough time with Findley who is pretty durable. You may remember Findley fighting Dirrell on

Showtime, a fight which he got beat with speed. He might give Guerrero trouble with his chin which is decent. Guerrero is fighting at home so another big crowd is expected, and this fight should entertain them. I don't know

alot about Adjaho, but Porter hasn't looked that impressive lately since his competiton has slowly gotten better. Adjaho is another guy who like Findley has lost when he steps up usually and is on a 3 fight losing streak.

Hopefully these two prospects step up their game and do what good prospects should do and impress the fans. This is boxing though anything could happen.

We can also use this for the telefutura fights which may be more competitive. They have Eloy Perez fighting Roger "Speedy" Gonzales, and Mercito Gesta, the filipino prospect, versus a guy he already ko'd. This Gesta kid like to

fight guys 2 times it seems. This will be his fourth rematch in 20 fights. I think Perez vs. Gonzales will be decent, Speedy is a quality opponent, he's fought championship level guys.

I'm looking forward to seeing how Guerrero will approach this guy. Is it being broadcast on ESPN2?

Yes, also a heads up, tommorrow espn3.com has the Sturm Vs. Hearns fight. It's gonna be early so check your local time.

Boy Porter gets hit more often then he might like. Leaps in and reaches too much

Adjaho tries to work his jab as a counter, lands one decent right, while Porter looks to get inside and throw combos. Gave it to Porter for volume.

Porter does look like a shorter stockier Mosely. Gave him that one as well, because Adjaho doesnt really look for offense first, seems like he is trying to counter too much.

Giving round 3 to Adjaho, he landed some good shots and seems to have found his range better in that round. 2-1 Porter

Facially I can see the Mosley but he's almost too stocky-squat. Really got pressured well that round. Can see range guys being big prob for Porter(s) style in future

Giving round four to Adjaho as well, landed some clean power shots that had Porter backing up a bit. 2-2

wow. 2-2 all even. Porter needs to find his way in and work when there...he's getting a bit shown up on outside

Damn. He gets tagged a lot yeh. Too body as well.

Porter gets round 5 he landed more, and used movement more to not get hit after he throws. 3-2 Porter.

Agreed. Porter busier and punches off lurching Adjaho from side to side...betting Adjaho losses a point before its over.

Porter gets round 6 but he isnt landing anything that is really hurting Adjaho. Adjaho need to use his jab more, and then counter when Porter comes in. 4-2 Porter

Adjaho waiting too much in a pretty boring round, Adjaho lands a big shot, gonna go even 4-2-1 Porter. I'm not getting 3d, but this liquor is making them move a lil. I kinda see a lil blurry outline, might be lsd flashbacks though.

Ha. What up Mar...4D ;D Yeh he almost punches from the backseat, doesnt sit down to get full power...and Adjaho stands still and as tall as can be but arms closed. Man ref Ken Chevalier was a boxer ? No kidding?

Porter gets it again due to actually wanting it. adjaho looks like he is just waiting for something. 5-2-1 I like that Porter still has good quickness in the 8th.

Porter goes to the body more, which I think serves a short fighter like him better. He should have been looking for the body earlier. 6-2-1 Porter

Decent fight that was...certainly not the blowout I expected.

Porter again7-2-1 Porter should reall focus on bodywork, short fighters have trouble connecting on those tall guys heads. 98-93 Porter

This fight should be more competitive, and action packed.

Can't beat undefeateds going at it early. Enough people in the ring for ya Dominic ???

I was just going to say Wade looks like Lamont peterson stylewise, he's got the same trainer. Heh.He even has the sound effects of a Peterson...lol

I want Young to win, just because he's from Tennessee. ;D

If he goes for it like he says, yeah it should be a fun fight. Findley isnt fast, but Guerrero hasn't dazzled me, he was in a very close one with Ishe"I dont throw enough" Smith.

Just hope Findley hasn't excepted the roll he's been brought into play tonight. Guerrero can be sucked into exchanges and hometown crowd in main event might push him to make some mistakes trying to please

Is it me or do these gloves look huge. I mean they look like sparring gloves.

Porter is a less polished version of Berto.
Berto still needs some work and by some I mean a lot.
So that tells you how much work Porter needs.
Not impressed by Porter. Fighters like him at that age are a dime a dozen.
You gotta have that "it" factor as of now I just don't see it in him...

I love FNF and love the clips of Shane and Pac really good programme. Only problem is it comes unannounced here on the UK and at crazy times. This fight was on at 6am
