Aaron Pryor with the black cup all day.
Probably an all time dream match up. Pac usually destroys anyone who's willingly engage at him.
Pac by KO
All the fighters that Packman has fought are making one and the same... Aaron has very good defence, increadible movement, he is fast, he boxes fondamentally correct and it's needed he can make speed stuff too. He was extremely skillfull fighter and you can't compare him to Óscar de la Hoya, Ricky Hatton and so on. And not to forget that Manny is not a one punch KO guy where Alexis Arguello was and he couldn't hurt Pryor!
I don't see how Pack can do anything to Aaron. Pryor will win with something like KO in the 6th or faster!
Ok I'm assuming were talking at 140lbs here and a 12 round fight. I guess the biggest question I have is how good is Manny's chin? I can't remember him hurt or stunned in a fight, even when he moved up to 147 so I'm guessing it's pretty damn good. This would be an amazing fight and I'm a huge Pryor fan but I could see this like the 2nd Marquez fight, very, very close fight, even if they fought a few times. I'd lean very slightly towards Manny. If they fought 5 times I could see it 1-1-3 actually. Too close to call.
I am not sure that Roach is that great and that if he is in your corner you are unbeatable ;)
First Aaron don't go directly in. He moves increadible and to land any punch on him is a difficult task!
Manny has only streight forward offence. He does not have chin and deffence! He is beating all this non skilled guys because they play the same game and he is faster, but Aaron didn't play that game ;) Aaron will make the same with Pac like he did it with Arguello, but faster because of the lack of deffence!
It's too bad Manny Pac wins only in real fights.... In this and other hypothetical scenario fights, he loses 'em all very badly, mostly by stoppages, RSC's or KO's!
This would be a sensational fight at there best. I go with Pryor with the magic bottle.
Pac withstood flush shots from Margarito, Clottey and Cotto why cant he take a flush shot from a 140 lb Pryor. Pac hurt Margarito, Oscar and Cotto why can't he hurt a 140 lb Pryor.
The magic bottle stains Pryor's career for me, i was a big fan. Pryor was careless, he got dropped, he would rush in with reckless abandon, not a good tactic against Manny Pacquaio. Salvador Sanchez V Manny Pacquaio is one dream match too!
I am going to say it this way. He hurt this Mexican heavy bags (i know that not all of them comes from there). Even my girlfriend will hurt you after 12 rounds of non stop pounding!
All of the Pacmans fights were against fighters who boxed on their frond leg. This means they is boxing upon instincts and speed! It's simple as this Pac was faster! He can punch them all night long and they can't do anything becouse they can't move!
See the way Aaron is boxing is really different from this fighters! He is boxing from his back leg! He has the moves! He goes in all directions! He rows with the shots! He is extreamy fast! He has the knowhow! He has the stamina! He has the power!
I want to mention that if this mexican punchingbacks box that way and get that type of pounding this means that they take it in training too! You make for yourself the conclusions!
See? Even you already figured out Aaron Pryor's style of fighting. The major diff between him and Pac is Pryor was a predictable fighter, Pac is not. Roach will expose Pryor's fighting style and weaknesses just watching his tapes overnight. He'll do a blueprint, engineer it, and Pac will execute beautifully.
FYI, boxing is a team sport.
I said it polite to you one time before, i am going to say it again. Being a ill man who is showed on the TV doesn't make you evil mastermind! How many fighters did he improuved? That some one was training in his gym at some point or unoder by its own is nothing! I want to mention this too. Where did he started from? Is this his gym or the gym from Eddy Futch?
The only one who can be picked up here is Pacman. His skills are really limited!
I'll go with Pacman, but Whittaker schools both in a hypothetical matchup. ;)Come forward overtly agressive fighters like these 2 gets a boxing lesson from Sweetpea.

Sorry not a heavy back, but a centry bob. The heavy bags move to much and are really tricky to hit :)
And seeing Pac cought with so many shots that he is not supposed to eat speackes even more for his lack of skills!
P.S.
Sorry miron_lang, i didn't ment to ofend you!
None taken mate :)
I cant see the GIF? what's in there Pac-JMM rounds 3 to 7? or Erik I?
Fighters are dangerous and are going to beat Pac before every fight. Now that we're here. They're all punching bags :D
Yeah yeah guys like Timothy Bradley or JMM can beat the 165lbs Margarito or even the same sized Joshua Clottey.
I also wonder how would these guys react when a fighter like Shane Mosley connects an overhand right on them.
I picture heaven as a place where all fighters from all era fights whenever you like :)
so be good and go to Heaven to see this fight. I would also like to see
- Mike Tyson vs Rocky Marciano
- Ricky Hatton vs Arturo Gatti
- Erik Morales vs Wilfredo Gomez
- Floyd Mayweather vs Manny Pacquiao
- Muhammad Ali vs Lennox Lewis
- Evander Holyfield vs Michael Spinks
- Sugar Ray Leonard vs Sugar Ray Robinson
- Ezzard Charles vs Super Prime Roy Jones Jr.
- Ricardo Lopez vs Jimmy Wilde
- George Foreman vs Klitsko Brothers
- Roberto Duran vs Aaron Pryor
- Thomas Hearns vs Sergio Martinez
so be good and see all these fights :D
To answer this very compelling question, Kanankrus has aptly said it. In hypothetical fights, manny, more often than not, would lose his fights especially if the analysis comes from his haters. So, I'd rather talk about actual fights and how Manny fared against them.:-X
First the thread is hypotethical and if you don't like it don't go inside! Second i have never said that he will lose to a mexcan punching bag. What i said is that he is never faced a fighter of the rang of Pryor!
<quote>Plus Aaron didn't have someone like a 4-time BWAA Trainer of the Year Roach. ;) <unquote>
..........uhhhhhh, yes he did, and then some! :)
as for the victor, its The Hawk by KO in 9.
as for the black bottle--THAT WASONLY THE 1ST ARGUELLO FIGHT. HE DEMOLISHED ARGUELLO IN THE 2ND JUST THE SAME, NO BLACK BOTTLE.
Pacquiao by a stoppage in the 8th.
I've taken flack for this before, but I really feel Pryor was overrated. He has the Arguello wins, but Arguello was no 140lber, hell he'd even looked vulnerable at 135. He also left his chin up at times, hands too low & his biggest flaw was how he squared up. Everyone goes on about Pac's punching power & volume, but what really does for his opponents is his footwork and I see Pryor squaring up and getting caught one too many time.
It would be a cracking fight though.
Anyone who thinks Pryor has a chance is delusional. Manny hits harder, he's a significantly faster, and he can deal with Pryor's style. Manny has problems with guys who control space intelligently, and methodically do their work offensively. That isn't Pryor.
yes thats right.Quote:
Panama Lewis?
as for that other post about pac demolishing aaron...........:rolleyes:
